Now this is really funny.

The Shahenshah of Hindustan actually goes to war against a principality that even Mynavati describes as small, instead of sending a contingent under some subedar.

While even the best of warriors can get into sticky situations in the battlefield, Zee is asking us to speculate, in this using a hammer to crack a nut exercise, whether Jalal will win?

Amazing. I think they rate the IQ of their viewers on par with that of Bhagwan Das & Co.

Plus I hope the shade of Akbar rises from his maqbara in Sikandra and takes his shamsheer (which must be right there next to him) to

- the Zee head of programming
-Ekta's CVs, for making him rave and rant like this and give the viewers a migraine.

I begin to sympathise with Rajya Sabha BJP MP Najma Heptullah, otherwise no favourite of mine, after all!😉

As for the latter point, we now have a balance between those protesting at the way the Rajputs are being shown and now those protesting against the way Akbar is being shown.

Actually, I was waiting for this from the other side. If such a protest was warranted, it would have been about the wrecking of Ruqaiya's character, but that would not get anyone het up, for none of the MPs would have heard of her😉. Akbar is different.

Nothing much will come of this in practical terms, for the basic charge that Jalal married Jodha by force and was keeping her in Agra will be immediately shot down, being factually incorrect, but I hope Ekta and her CVs get a bit of a jolt and tone down this raving, ranting Jalal.
