Friends, I have thought really long and hard about this track going on regarding the miscarriage and the kesar-doodh poisoning. We have also seen two or three episodes full of Jalal's worst behaviour and cruelty and unreasonableness with respect to Jodha, her brothers and her father even, yesterday.
Especially yesterday Jalal looked at his evil worst. Infact most of us are roundly cursing Ekta for this typical piece of soapy nonsense of going too far in making jalal mad!
But just because this is all going so over the top, I am beginning to get a serious doubt. Also I am thinking: if the hero is shown at such an extreme depth of behaviour, even if he says a thousand apologies later no one will ever forgive him, certainly not Jodha!
Keeping this in mind therefore I was wondering if there could be another explanation for Jalal's behaviour being so extreme, and this is my theory:
1. Jalal was genuinely upset at first with the loss of the baby, but let's face it, Ruqaiaya has been known to have several miscarriages. I do not believe that at each miscarriage Jalal behaved so horribly. Evenn this time he must have been affected but not so drastically affected. And if this is the 15th or 16th time this is happpenining his anger each time must have lessened and he may be more sad than angry at his repeated thrashing at the hands of Fate. Agreed, this time, someone told him that it was not a natural miscarriage, it was induced by a poison. Even so, he could well have realised in one quick moment that even the previous miscarriages could have been induced rather than genuine? If Ruqaiya who was the mother of the lost baby could get this brainwave, why not Jalal himself?
I agree that Jalal may have been devastated by the baby's death, but I do not believe that his reaction to it was solely due to anger and chagrin at the baby's death. A little bit of the anger was true, the rest of the anger was FAKED, that is my theory.
2. OK, now let's see why Jalal may need to fake his extreme anger and fake his extreme rudeness and irrationality. He knew that he was the one who egged Jodha to serve the kesar doodh then and there to Ruqaiya with that spoon. before that Jodha was not going to serve the kesar dooodh she was merely gifting the thali of Kesar. So jalal knows that if it was Jodha's intention to go for the kill, the idea to serve the doodh at that same moment was not Jodha's it was his idea. And it was he who made Ruqu finish that whole glass of milk. And he also knows that Jodha did not manufacture that glass of milk, it came from Mahamanga. So any idiot, including the king, would also suspect Mahamanga? I think jalal did suspect Mahamanga, but he kept this to himself.
3. When the midwife then declared that Ruqu was poisoned by an Amer herb, and it must have been given in that last food that Ruqu took, jalal saw how squarely this real culprit may be trying to frame Jodha with murder. Not just Jodha but also her brothers. And additionally Mahamanga did everything she could to try and convince jalal on the poison herb theory by drinking that milk there and then and going into a faint. Jalal must now have known that whoever was his own enemy and the enemy of his waaris, was also the enemy of Jodha and her borthers and was definitely trying to achieve both goals: Jalal/Waaris eliminiation on one side and Jodha and Amer family elimination on the other side.
4. Jalal therefore must have cleverly planned (without telling anyone - Hamida, Salima, even Ruqaiaya) that he would have to do his own detective work to find the real culprit but till he got time to do that work, he has to deliberately act very against Jodha and her family so that the culprit feels that nothing more harm needs to be done to Jodha and her family as the Shahenshah is hiself going to surely eliminate them. Thus having lulled the culprit into silence, Jalal acted as if he was ready to kill off Jodha and her family, and as if he then reluctantly gave them ten days to prove their innocence, and then he delinberately also made them baandhis,( but he clearly did this for their own safety). By keeping Jodha and her brothers under strict custody he made sure no one could get near them and harm them or try to kill them. he also kept Jodha away from her brothers as he knew that Jodha was the No. 1 enemy that the killer would try to kill first so he probably gave her additional layers of security. All the time he also continued to rave and rant about the misdeeds of jodha and her brothers (but if you notice carefully, he never went to them privately and shouted at them, he always called them to the sabha and shouted at them in public presence to enhance his act of scolding them and threatening them).
5. He then must have got some info or scenet that when the Ammer family is targeted by the culprit for killing, the whole family of sister and brothers were at Agra, but Raja Bharmal was alone and defenceless in Amer, and if this culprit had access to Amer herbs then this culprit could also have access to the Amer palace perhaps and try to eliminate Bharmal. So jalal summons Bharmal to Agra and then keeps him also in custody for his own safety.
6. My own feeling after seeing this sequence of events with new eyes, is that somehow it could be a one out of Mahamanga, Sharifuddin and Hoshiyar. (please see my extra bit on Page 3 why I still feel it is Sharifuddin!)
Even yesterday Mahamanga was instigating Jalal to be rude to Bharmal, and Jalal then gave a knowing smirk as if he was agreeing with her but his expression could have been actually sarcasm against her? Definitely mahamanga seemsunder suspicion, but maybe Sharifuddin was the prime one involved at the Amer end of things, organising the herbs via henchmen or working on Bharmal's elimination? And Hoshiyaar could have been the local mixedr of the herbs in the kesar and the local miscarriage master every time there has been a miscarriage before. perhaps used without his knowing.
7. Anyway, why I am saying all this now is that we have all had serious doubts as to how Jalal may redeem himself after such extreme bad behaviour. If indeed he hhas saved Jodha and her whole family from death - from a culprit still roaming at large at the Agra palace and ready to target Jodha and her family next - then after the culprit is found., Jalal would be a hero in the eyes of the whole Amer clan and Jodha too. Alll he needs to do is to tell the whole story of how he had to fake it to save them all!
8. It seems too far-fetched to think that just the previous week jalal was learning all about Jodha's love of children and her good qualities and then suddenly he believes her to be a murderess. My strong feeling now is that Jalal knows it cannot be Jodha as the culprit at all. But he knows also that the culprit has already assassinated the unborn baby and the very next target will be Jodha and her family. Jalal knows that the culprit is someone who hates himself (Jalal), his waaris, and Jodha's family as well. But the Agra household is so full of politics and there are so many people close to jalal himself who may have the means and the motives, that jalal has chosen to trust no one with his plan, till the real culprit is found. So he had no choice, in a way, than to do this whole faking act just to keep Jodha and her family tightly under protection and also by himself suspecting them and threatening death on them he has tried to make the culprit not go after them for the kill immediately.
9. Will Sharif get caught? Never! That would end the whole story, so its my feeling that Hoshiyaar or the underlings may be caught but just before they spill the beans on the bigwigs they may themselves be killed off to shut their mouths.
There that is my theory. I may be totally wrong. Please do let me know all your views!
