The episode was fab actually...
Perfect reaction from everyone to this incident...not even 24 hrs to the celebration and here this news breaks out...

Somewhere i never felt that MA could be the one who would do this...especially at such an early stage...she is the one who waits observes and then acts or reacts...she isnt so spontaneous...she has always pointed out to Adham for his spontanoeus stupidity hence MA doing this so soon doesnt go really well with her characterization.

I lolled at Ruqs crying...wht was she crying for ...losing the baby or losing the title...she is so ruined tht i feel no sympathy for her at all...i actually felt bad for Hameeda... LOLLL

All people standing in support of Jodha know Jodha pretty well and know tht she cant do sumthing so low...
I liked how finally Hameeda gathered the courage and came in front to speak to Jalal..her son..nd the emperor...Until when will she sit back quiet...Good time for her to speak up..

Salima scene was great too...her character is just so respectable...!

Answers to two questions being raised in various thread through the forum
Why was Jalal behaving so?
He is an emperor
He is short tempered
Adversity is not allowing him to think straight
A mix of short temper, ego and power has often resulted in whimsical decisions of the leaders (even if they were generally great ones) thus leading to disastrous consequences for some of their subjects...and Jalal here is no exception...

Why was Jodha silent?
Jodha was following the norm. When a session is going on in court against her and the emperor is having his discussions with his advisors, she cannot open her mouth and start protesting like she did in her own chamber. I can imagine this would have been the case in any court (even her own father's). She has not been given permission to speak and so she cannot. Even her brothers stood silent.

hi lashy, a wonderful post again..in response to ur last paragraph, why jodha did not say a word, i think this whole situation is going to be portrayed in a very dramatic and scintillating manner, she will say her powerful dialogues in her defense when the spurt of jalal-e-kahar will settle down to make him and the audience speechless..rt now she is also in a state of shock and trying to absorb the intensity and seriousness of the situation..i am looking forward to akbar expressing remorse on blaming jodha blindfoldedly and how she will prove her innocence and who will be the real real culprit..its all a mystery as of now!

Though I'm not too optimistic...I sincerely hope something like that unfolds...for some reason the best dialogues in the serial seem to be reserved for Jalal and MA...

The only dialogue of Jodha that has been worth resurrecting is the 'Adarsh daasiyon ko dee jaati hai' I wish she says something that at least gets the emperor's cognitive cogs turning...
