Oh, Jalal. We have had enough discussions about his love for children. But after the final scene of tonight, I had to break free of my terrible schedule, and comment on the heartbreaking nature of his love. The final scene , with Rahim on his shoulders. What a gorgeous scene. He is truly himself when he is with Rahim. Does it not just break your heart? His desperate desire to have a little boy, or a girl, to call his own. To have his own family. To have something that he could not buy with all his power or money. To have something he never had the chance to experience. To live his own lost childhood through a little child. Heartbreaking.
And since we have seen the precap, and we all know how Ruqaiyaa will lose the baby, it makes my heart ache for both of them. I have seen people uncomfortable with the vivid portrayal of the miscarriage, and to be honest, even I cringed a little. But I, myself have witnessed a miscarriage of one of my distant relative. And it was horrifying. And I appreciate the CVs for not shying away from portraying the horrific, real and terrible pain that is a miscarriage. It was dramatic, blunt and very real. My heart just breaks for the Jalal. The guy who has prayed for a baby since we can remember. And yes, we know Jodha will give him one. But for now, It is just tragic. And I dread to see his face when he hears the news.
