Edited: Although i sort of have this suspicion that Jalal's sudden appreciation for Jodha might be a plot to gain her affection.. because i believed that when Jalal spoke of "dil ya dimag" ,it suggested that he was contemplating whether he would have to defeat her dimag or her dill..?Am i completely wrong here?

Thank you, dear Misaki, but no, it is no plot from his side. Even when she does not oblige him in the matter of faking the arrival of a baby, his fascination with her does not diminish. She is still way down the road, however - today's episode was a bit of an anticlimax - but perhaps more of that elsewhere.

Do you paint the Krishna paadams on the floor of the entrance hall, outlined in white rice paste, from the main door all the way to the pooja room? We used to do that when I was young. They are supposed to be the footprints of the baby Krishna.

Yes, Paridhi looked very beautiful in that aarti scene, but the direction was so strange that Jodha was made to look downright stupid. How on earth would Jalal know the difference between a thali for the tilak and one for the aarti? He tries hard, poor chap, and this silly girl keeps bleating about an aarti thali as though he had done a course in Hindu rituals. Cultural chauvinism, that is what it was😉.

It was all an anticlimax, Jodha is back to repeating, like a parrot, that she has ghruna for him, and we are getting absolutely nowhere. I am not enthused by Ruqaiya laughing like a demented hyena and counting her chickens way before they are hatched. I hope we do not have repeats of that later this week.

I agree with all this, my dear, but today was an anticlimax and the precap came and went pretty much like a kite suspended in mid air. I will try and make something of it elsewhere, but it was very thin pickings.

I do agree its the gentle forgiving ones that allow abuse to fester - that does not mean that one should not be forgiving or gentle but some mistakes transgress to something that is downright bad/wrong and that should never be forgiven.

Sharifuddin was lucky he was a part of the century where he got away abusing his wife but he will get what he deserved.

Now for the awesome part - Akhda...man just having them together on screen is like magic!

I do have to disagree with you here though😳...for Jalal - Jodha is a woman he cant seem to tame - she is a wild horse and he is fascinated and angry ... he wants her to do his bidding but somwhere he likes that she she stands up to him like no other - so all in all what happened yesterday --- the flashbulb that glowed in regards to his Ammi's mannat was that he now has a chance to act like he wishes - and exact his revenge. When her parents were there - she put him in situations he dint want to be and for most part he still thinks that she was getting him to do her bidding and play with him and his ego was bruised - he is an emperor after all - so now that he gets his chance he wants his revenge. but the problem with destiny is that ---- in her attempt to stand up to him and his attempt to tame her and exact his revenge - they are meant to to fall for each other...I cant wait for the precap to happen!!!!!
