well whether married or not it doesn't matter in industry as long as acting is good i have seen many married actresses giving awesome chemistry with co-stars and hot too
but personally i think relationship shouldn't be hided coz marriage i don't think affect anyone's fan following take instances of bollywood

but being vocal about marriage or relation or not is anyone's personal choice but hiding or lying though is common but not acceptable to me

and thirdly why PH asked her to keep mum when we all got to know within few months? what was the fruit then? lol

anyways jodha-akbar's story is so gripping and akdha chemistry too so it won't matter but i feel marriage or relation should b always accepted after that its personal choice wheather to talk about that or not

anyway I think people are much more matured this days. They don't care if some one is married or not as far as on screen chemistry is electrifying..So hiding marital status for show is not necessary. Ekta's PH is really playing ancient tricks for TRP.😆

Why was it hidden?

Well the simple reason is that we live in a traditionalist male chauvinistic society...😊things are changing, but very slowly, if you ask me..

Even today a married actor still enjoys the same amount of fandom as he has before his marriage..

but, the same cannot be said of an actress...

A married actor is allowed to go on and continue acting whatever the role may be like...

However, married actresses are expected to retire from the industry and invest energy into other businesses (the latest trend seems to be fashion/home/jewellery designing)...if they want to continue in the industry they'd find the scope of roles offered to them quite limited!

However old, we are happy to accept a male lead (even romancing girls half his age) be it the Khans, the Dutts, the Devgans or the Kumars...

However, the public is just NOT able to accept an older (married or not) actress romancing... we don't want to appreciate the Meryl Streeps, Julia Roberts and the Sandra Bullocks here...unless they play artistic/motherly roles ofcourse...

Hence, the PH must have taken this decision...

And if you ask me...I don't think its the first Indian PH that must have taken such a decision...

@lasy, its not about male or female, many male actors like angad hasija, barun sobti did the same. So its not a big deal. Honestly I am only interested about her performance not her personal life. So whether RT has a gf or whether pari is married hardly matters. So all the best to both.
