But the fact remains that Ruqaiyaa was Akbar's best mate and favorite wife. With or without child. At least that's what Akbar himself proclaimed in later years. His actions and his words are often quite contradictory, so I wouldn't give too much importance to the facts which have never been officially proved. So yeah. 😆 Indian history is a mystery. In the truest sense.

And since, no historian, Hindu or Muslim exactly entertains the idea of a Hindu girl and Akbar's love story, they have always been quite vehement against it. Hindu people say Mariam was forced, and Muslims say he only loved Ruqaiyaa. 😆😆 So, don't pay too much attention to them either. There may have been a love story or something between Mariam and Akbar for all we know. 😉
