That part was definitely awesome..

But just one question, is this custom followed by Rajasthanis too?

One more thing, muslims don't wear tika in the middle, but here the show Ruqayya wearing two (one left/right and one in the middle). Even in the movie.. Jalal's mother didn't wear it in the middle.. I think this is a major flaw..

I don't think so. It is not a Rajput custom. However, the interaction between Jalal and saalis was enough to make me get over any such feelings. You could just see how desperately the guy wants to be a father. And how good a father he will be. It broke my heart. 💔

I second you!
The scene was really heartwarming and Rajat was at his best during that part and even throughout the entire episode!😊

Yes, Muslims do wear tika. I have several Muslim friends, and a very few of their moms do wear tika. It depends on the family, I think. It is not a popular custom, but it does happen.

Yeah that tika confuses me too!
I haven't seen a muslim girl wearing a maang tika in any other show.
In the old show heena, or jodha akbar (movie), or umrao jaan.
Aish being a courtesan was shown wearing that tika like all the time but it was never in the center. It was always on sideways.
Even zoya on qubool hai wore it on the side when she was getting married for the first two times. In the third, she wore something weird. But it wasn't a mang tika in the centre.

They do but not the maang tika (in the middle). All my school friends are muslims.. They don't wear it in the middle.. as far as I know.
