Hi guys. This is my first piece on Akdha.😆 So please bear with me. 😆
This OS is kinda random i guess. I don't think it actually makes sense. If you know what I mean. 😆 I will write better OS's and my specialty, FFS!!! 😉 But for now I have to finish off my other works as If i start new Akdha ones then there will be a bucket load. 😆
But I promise that soon you all will know me here as a writer of the Forum. 😆
But even though that, Please do give a read and Comment/Like as this does take time. 😆
Jodha sat there breath taken.
This man was simply amazing.
For the last five minutes he had performed many acts which included him flipping upside down and twisting his body in such a way that made Jodha's head spin.
Jodha hadn't dreamt that she would get a husband so dear and loving that he would hire a professional entertainer for his wife only.
The actor was really enthusiastic about his performance.
The actor also performed various majical tricks before taking his leave.
Jodha's frown had now turned into a wide grin.
"Wah wah kya baath hai? Uss me koi jaadu tha kya? Ke woh hamari begum ko hassaa sake magar hum nahi?" Smiled Jalaal as he entered.
Jodha frowned again.
"Hum ne kaha tha ke aap hum se baath matt kijiye!" She said turning away and ignoring the heart melting dimples of her Husband, Shahenshah Jalaaludin Mohammad Akbar.
"Arrey! Aaj toh aap behud naraaz hai? Ijazat hai toh puche kyu?" He sat down beside her leaning his back on hers.
Jodha moved forward and turned around, Jalaal fell backwards straight into Jodha's lap.
"Aap toh jaante hai Shahenshah ke hamme apne bistar pe joothe acche nahi lagte! Uthariye apne joothe!" Jodha commanded staring at Jalaals feet.
Jalaal quickly shook them off.
"Ab theek hai?"
"Ji Haa"
He smiled. This was one reason he had fallen in love with Jodha. She was fiesty and stubborn and would always get her ways. In a good way of course.
"Aapne abhi tak hamme janam din mubarak nahi kaha!" She exclaimed.
It had taken Jodha a while to switch from Hindi to Urdu. But she still spoke mixed.
"Oh Ho! Hum kaise buul gaye? Acha ab keh dehte hai! Meri Pyaari si Jodha ko Bahut Bahut Janam Din Mubarak ho!" He said kissing Jodha on the head.
Jodha went red and smiled.
She pulled her arms around Jalaals neck.
"Aaj kal toh aap apne kaam me itna mashroof ho gaye hai ke aap ko mera khayaal pehle ki tarah nahi sataa raha hoga!" Laughed Jodha.
Jalaal chuckled.
"Agar aap mere dil-o-dimag pe chayi hai to aap ke khayaalo ki kya zaruurath? Aap toh muj main basti ho..." Said Jalaal winking.
Jodha laughed again.
"Toh theek hai. Ab aap jaiye kyunke aap ko Shareef-ud-din se milna hai... Yaad nahi? Yehi waqt kaha tha na aap ne?" She asked.
"Oh haa! Abi main chalta hu... Aap apna khayaal rakhiye... Aur aaj aap bilkul araam farmayie... Kuch chahiye toh besharmi se maang li jiye..." Jalaal ordered his wife sweetly.
Jodha gestured him to leave as he was getting late.
Ruqaiya who had been spying on the couple quickly moved away from the door as Jalaal came out.
She wiped a tear from her cheek.
She had never recieved the love from Jalaal which Jodha was recieving. She had been on Jalaals mind often but never in his heart like Jodha.
She never used to mind that Jalaal didn't love her.
But after Jodha made her entrance as Jalaals new bride, Jalaal slowly forgot that Ruqaiya was his wife before Jodha and his childhood friend.
Ruqaiya stepped away.
Maybe Jalaal and her were just never meant to be.
*******************
Jodha stopped herself from falling over and quietly slipped a letter under Ruqaiya's pillow.
She tip toed out of Ruqaiya's room.
Jodha gave another letter to a Mughal Servant and ordered him to deliver the letter to a Friend of Jodha's.
Jodha smiled.
All she wanted was Ruqaiya to forget Jalaal and move on.
Jodha could have given Jalaal up and moved away but Jodha knew that she would be ruining Jalaal's, Ruqaiya's and her own life.
Jalaal would never love Ruqaiya as he would be remembering Jodha. And Jodha would also remember Jalaal dearly and regret her decision.
Ruqaiya would never recieve the affection Jodha recieved.
Jodha nodded silently.
She was doing the right thing. After all she knew Azeem loved Ruqaiya terribly.
******************
Ruqaiya woke up. She found a letter by her.
It read: (translated from Hindi to English)
Dear Ruqaiya.
I have never confessed my feelings to you but I feel it is the right time. I have dearly loved you Ruqaiya. I cannot live without you. But for me to marry you is a sin towards The Shahenshah. I was hoping you would come away with me. Shahenshah will never send his troops to trample on the footprints of Love we leave behind while eloping. I hope you understand.
Yours lovingly.
Azeem Khan. (Jalaal's most loyal friend)
It had said the same on Azeems letter which arrived to him a day later.
Ruqaiya smiled.
And the next day, Ruqaiya was no where to be found.
Azeem Khan also was missed at occasions.
The news reached Jalaal. And he said.
"Hum kabhi bhi unke Mohabbat ke nishaano pe kadam nahi rake ge..."
(I will not step over their signs of Love)
Jodha watched this and smiled. Oh How well she knew her husband...
