This is a VERY short update...i might be able to do another update later on today but I need to think of some interesting stuff...its getting harder and harder as the storyline progresses.\

CHAPTER 8:

"You bas***d, I can't believe you did that. I bathed you like you asked and this is what I get in return. I'm leaving." And with as much dignity as Jodha can muster she tries to get out of the bathing area. BUT……with her lengha soaked and the added weight, she has a hard time and keeps falling back into the water. Jalal sees this, gets out and steps over to where she is.

"Here Jodha take my hand and I will help you get out." Jalal is feeling slightly guilty about throwing her into the water and wants to help her get out, he can see she is starting to get cold and is shaking slightly from the dampness. Jodha just looks past him and moves to another part of the bath to get out. "Jodha, I am trying to help you, take my hand." Slightly irritated that she's not taking his help.

"I DO NOT NEED YOUR HELP, and I especially will not accept help from a Mughal." And with a bit of renewed energy Jodha finally manages to get out of the bath, dripping from head to foot. She looks up, Shrieks and quickly averts her eyes. "Shenshah, you have no clothes on…..remove yourself from my presence until you are suitably attired." Jodha's face is flaming red, for she definitely got a glimpse of everything Jalal had to offer.

Jalal goes to his room and comes back to the bathing area with Jodha's clothes. He places them on a bench. 'Jodha, your clothes are here on the bench. I will wait for you in my bedroom, do not take long in changing, I wish to discuss something with you." With that, Jalal leaves jodha alone.

Jodha looks around suspiciously, almost positive that jalal must be up to something. She glances at where the clothes are and hesitates, but knows that she really has no choice right now. She's wet, getting very cold and might very well catch a cold or fever if she doesn't get out of the damp clothes soon. As quickly as possible Jodha gets changed, ever fearful of Jalal walking in at any moment. Once she's changed she feels uncomfortable, for her shoes are wet so she can't put them back on, and she has no maid to help her with her hair. She manages as best she can…."its not as if I care what he thinks of me anyways, so why should it matter what I look like." With a satisfied look, and a renewed resolve, Jodha walks towards his bedroom. As she steps across the threshold into his room, she sneezes.

Jalal is reclined on his bed and looks up when he hears Jodha sneeze. He quickly gets up, "jodha are you alright." Jodha ingnores him and starts to walk towards the door. She grabs the lock to open the door when Jalal's arms appear on either side of her, and she's trapped between the impenetrable door and Jalal's hard, toned body. Jodha doesn't want to turn around…"Jalal let me leave. I don't wish to be here anymore, I want to go to my own room and sleep. Let me go."

Jalal doesn't want to let her leave yet……what has this woman done to him for him to be acting this way. "Jodha, what spell have you cast upon me for me to behave like a lovesick school boy. What can I do, for you to want to spend more time with me, to not hate me anymore."

And that's when Jodha' gets an idea. She realizes she has the power to unman this Shenshah, to bring him low and embarrass him in front of his whole kingdom. This is perfect…..and this time Jodha smiles to herself, but Jalal can't see her as she's facing away from him.

"Shenshah, I need to leave this night as I'm starting to not feel well. However, I promise you in exchange for letting me leave tonight, you will have a willing bride by your side tomorrow if that is what you wish."

Jalal is at first surprised, but then places a kiss on her neck, it still being slightly damp from the water. "Jodha, lets seal this deal with a kiss." He turns her around and kisses her deep, his tongue entering her shocked slack mouth, plundering in the riches that she has to offer. Jodha starts to return the kiss and Jalal is truly lost now. He starts to take her back to his bed but Jodha is quick to react and steps away from the kiss. She is breathing heavily and the two just stare at each other. Jalal pulls himself together, goes to the door and instructs his guard to take their Malika back to her rooms. Jalal continues to stare after her looking at her retreating back.

Sorry its so short - I think I need to add some new characters into the story to keep it interesting...theres only so much of Jalal and Jodha bantering that can go on right???? 😉

what is she going to pull this time..i hope we get a scene where jodha expects jalal to taunt her but he shows her nothing but respect..this might get her to like him.

Am sure jo is gonna realise her folly soon..and her plan may someout backfire...poor jalal...jo is lucky that yet he hasnt gorced herself on her...hallmark of a good man...

wow. I am totally in love with this story and a very big thumbs up for the superfast update. Hope you'll continue updating regularly. And by the way, jodha is really testing jalal's patience and i doubt if he'll be able to take it any longer.
