It would be a pity if Ekta lets a few extremists dictate to her how to run her show. It would be a pity if she gives up a show she spent endless hours of manpower on because of a few threats. It would be a pity if after searching forever to find the perfect Jodha, Paridhi Sharma (who is amazing as Jodha, flawless) and the perfect Akbar to just give it all up. Jodha Akbar is like a feast to my eyes rich in history, color, culture, so it would be a pity if I couldn't watch it anymore.

It would be pity if the mighty queen of the television industry falls without even a fight.

So here's to hoping Ekta's diplomatic skills are brilliant and she can manage this situation well. Here's to hoping this show goes on for a long time.

yes all of us want jodha-akbar to run for a long time,but logically speaking it would be better if ekta takes a few dramatic decisions and changes the names and the backgrounds a bit..she will have a lot of creative liberties then.and no opposition...if the government dosent aproov of the show then she will have to shut it down.

ok then, change the names and take to the Jodha-Akbar marriage. That's fine with me.

Yes, logically speaking, these people will not stop protesting. For the entire life-span of the show. Only thing that can help it is to change the names and background. Just turn it to a story of a fictional muslim king and a hindu princess and their love story. People are already hooked to it, and they are not watching it because of the movie anymore. The serial has nothing in common with the movie anyway. And making it fictional will also stop people from commenting over its historical inaccuracies.

The show will lost it's charm if they change the name n backgrounds of Jodha n Akbar , it won't be epic any more . 😔

Really? But we already like it enough. And even it was a normal love story about two royal people falling in love, I feel the acting of the lead characters will be more than enough to hold the show together. We, viewers, are a lot more accepting people than those losers. We can easily accept and make sense of apparent historical inaccuracies, we can also go past the change of names and backgrounds. Easily. And people who are already watching it, will not stop watching it because of the name-change. Because frankly, none of us care about history. Much. Rather, more people will be open to the show if it turns fictional. They will stop comparing it and pointing out the historical inaccuracies, and let the story run its course.

i know right. if that happens.. i have a feeling it will loose majority of audience.. sole reason would be somehow the show has to go off air if its planning for the changes.. and that period everyone would know the real reason.. and then it would just end up being some random show on the minds of other viewers... we forum members mite as well watch for RT / Paridhi / JA sake.. but how far will those watch who are unaware of internet world ? who just sit infront of tv for the sake of entertaninment ? will they get the same concept they wished in JA if names and bg is changed ?
