Seriously there is no point in these discussions. Women are still illtreated and are considered as an entity in so many parts of the world irrespective of the religion.
On a positive note we should feel blessed that we are born in such liberal culture and are able to live our life as we want to live.

If we actually have to go back to history, the first ever incident of forcible marriage I can recall was abduction of Amba, Ambika and Ambalika by Bheeshma for his nephew by Vichitraveera and again forcible marriage of Gandhari to the blind Dhritashtra in lieu of releasing her father and brother Shakuni from imprisonment.
Women have always been considered as prizes, loot or treaty compensation during war times and there's no reason we should add religious or communal color to this one.
This show has been made purely to portray the personal relationship of Jodha Bai and Akbar which looks like its been quite fictionalized (The disclaimer also mentions this)
I watch it only for entertainment because if we begin getting into facts I will end up pointing out millions of mistakes 😆
