Plight of Rajput women in medieval times

It gives me immense displeasure and sadness thinking about the plight of Rajput women in those times. They were violated and abducted by muslim invaders and taken to their harem as sex slaves. Those who escaped the brutality committed themselves to fire (jauhar) to escape the dishonoring.
The most disappointing part was shameless Rajput warriors giving their women folk to Mughals in order to keep their throne intact. Instead of protecting their women, they sold them to Islamic nobles!!! History is full of such incidents when these helpless women were dumped into these harems to be treated as second class citizens, forced to change their religion and treated as prostitutes.
My heart goes out to such ladies. How Jodha was forced into marrying ruthless Jalal, it would have been a horrendous situation for her!! She was lucky that she did not end up as second class woman in Jalal's harem.
In our ancient India, when a king was defeated, his subjects and women folk were never ill treated.
But this barbaric practice of the west continues even today during modern day wars when the victorious army violates the women and kids of defeated nation. Shameless and disgusting act by mankind!!

You are saying something which does not have any backing from the history.I am sorry but I beg to differ from you.You are talking about something which never occurred. It is ridiculous!!

That is upto you to think...I would not like to take part in anything like this...but you should know that Jajiya was never collected from Brahmins woman children and bankrupt hindus...
Muslims did rule us for 1000 thosand yesrs and no rule so long can last in India without the backings of Hindus.

Dear OP, What is the point of this thread? You're crying over an incidence during the medieval times? In that case you'll have plenty to cry about.

As for the women not being ill treated after war in ancient India. That is a myth. It seems to me that you are just trying to incite hatred against a particular community in general. I don't see why you'd make such a post out of nowhere.

Forgive me, but women are always mistreated and dominated. This happens in most cultures, Hindu or Muslim. Just the nature of patriarchy changes its face according to the religion or culture. And honestly. There is zero point in crying over spilt milk. 😊 We are not in the medieval age anymore, and this forum is meant to be fun and relaxing for people. 😉 You should also enjoy yourself. Don't worry too much.
