Bairam Khan isn't going to last

After thinking about all the negative characters surrounding Jalal, I am in awe at how openly Bairam Khan is shown as defying Jalal's rule and his explicit orders.

The way he treats Jalal's most trusted soldier, then imprisoning him and blaming the "suicide" on being the soldiers choice and lying about what he was saying about Jalal and BK.

Then on Wednesday's episode, I know Maham Anga was using this to her advantag, but I was also quite shocked when Bairam Khan walked away from Jalal without even a glance backwards and without giving his the respect due to his Shenshah...

And now..Jalal's words are going to bite him back, when he said that he trusts that BK is going ot follow his wishes and respect his order to release the prisoner. BK beheads the soldier who dares speak against him, but what he said was absolutely correct. Whether BK wnats to follow Jalal or not, he can not under any circumstances, override a direct order given by his Shenshah.

So now that he has killed the man, I'm thinking that this might be the last straw for Jalal to over look...maybe Im moving too fast and its going to take alot more for this to be the case...but I kind of think that with so many negative characters its going to be BK gone soon...either before or after Jodha / Jalal get married we'll have to wait and see but definitely he's going soon...

totally agree with you.. He is going very soon..I think here Maha manga is playing quite smartly..Now AK knows that BK killed that man so Maha manga will soon use this and this is may be the final nail in coffin. He is openly defying Jalal and mahaManga has already sowed the seeds of doubt in Jalal's mind..I think he will go before Jodha enter their palace, after that it will be jodha-maha manga, jodha-ruqya..

acc to history at age 18 just after 4 yrs of his coronation Akbar got rid from bairam khan far before jodha in his life...

I read that the 'harem party' or 'petticoat government' headed by MA gets him out.. there will be a war, the BK will run away.. but then ask for forgiveness.. Akbar gives him 2 alternatives.. leave for Mecca or offers him a post I can't remember.. He chooses to go for the pilgrimage but gets killed. His widow, (Who is much younger to BK and is Akbar's first cousin) is then married to Akbar. Their 4 year old son is adopted by akbar, he later on also becomes a minister in the court...

As far as I know (my facts may be wrong) Salima Sultan, who was Bairam's young wife later marries Akbar and BK n her son is adopted by him.
