Hi all,

I am new in this forum. :) First of all I am really liking the show..But there is one question that bugs me...Why is Jodha called Jodha? Ok I dont know whether that question made any sense.

But what I actually want to say is Jodha's actual name was Harkha Bai or even Hira Kunwari..Later after her marriage with Akbar she got converted and was named Mariam uz-Zamani..I mean all these stuff confuse me...There is no historical proof of ''Jodha'' then why is Mariam getting called ''Jodha'' in the first place in movies and shows. 😕

Whatever, Jodha= Mariam/Harkha Bai, right? I just read in Wiki that Jodha was queen of Jahangir according to some other historian/book..But in this show she will be her mom..Gross! 🤢

Anyways, did Akbar actually have soft spot for ''Jodha''..Did he actually become a changed man after ''falling'' for her?

Anys I just need some clarifications..I was never good at history😆 and now I am a medical student so you all can understand that I have minimum knowledge in this subject.😳

n plz huni dnt get confused over the name as it was said in the first epi that her name is HB but thy r gonna tell the story by the name jodha
n as per history
akbar's luv interest was ruqaiya, his fav wife n jodha/mariam was one of his fav

The show is not totally based on history and we don't even know the exact story..Its quite confusing!!Even in the show, disclaimer is aired that its not based on history!!So just don't worry about that and enjoy the show dear😊

PS: I am sorry that i couldn't answer your questions!!I am no good in history either😳😆

Alright...But I still dont know why she is called Jodha..I mean who gave her the name..Guess its not mentioned in history...Anyways looking forward to the upcoming episodes :)

it has many stories related to it but we dnt noe if its true or not 😉
