Hey guyz,
what did you think of RB's dressing style??
Since to me it seemed very dull and boring.
The way she was dressed was very unlikely for the padshah begum of Akbar.
C'mon guyz she was the emperor's principal consort after all...one would expect a bit more grandeur in her dresses and jewellery. On the other hand, hamida bano's and jalal's costumes and ornaments are just lovely to watch. I find the same kind of lack in menavati's costumes as well...
When it comes to a historical drama, costumes and jewellery makes a major impact on the audiences' mind.
One can't help but compare all this to the contemporary show MP where such details are beautifully depicted...
Just look at the queens over there...They practically radiate royalty!
I personally think Rukaiya should have been shown to be more elegant as is fit for a woman of her status.
