Dear Piu, you are such a sweet heart! I am overwhelmed with your stories!
Dear Virgo First of all apologies for such a late reply here.Last week was very busy and I wanted to reply at ease in details.Hope its not too late😳

We can definitely get the 16th century vibe! With the formal hindi and urdu it gives a nice contrast and feel of that era. You friend is very well versed in these languges and you dear Piu can execute these words and put life into the story!
Ahh thanks😃

I understand your view about Anjuman. She is not evil. She is just a women whom time has not been kind to. I actually find grey shades characters to be the most appealing as they leave a lasting impression! Well, I will wait and see how you unfold her story.

I am glad that you like grey shades too and trust me when Anjuman's story unfolds you will actually feel sympathy for her .Anjuman definitely has a traumatic past and her pain will be so relatable once the flashback becomes more clear

Thanks for mentioning other women who share your character Jodha's plight. I will definitely look into Asoka and Rani Padmini. I share you interest of feminism and women in history! I always admired Mother Sita, I am not sure if your are into religion as I understand it is very personal and sensitive topic so I will not indulge any further. My goodness but there really are so many books, essays and visuals you can analyze and that to with several perspectives each with its own credit. In India there are different books and authors that we do not get in Canada and America and sometimes its because of translation problems. You get a whole different perspective! So, I always look forward to when my father or friends bring me books!

~Virgo

Oh duh..my fault Its Rani Padmavati and not Padmini .Oh I never knew you like mythology too😲I am not much of a mytho watcher but I am keen reader and do admire religious ,mythological as well as historical figures especially women who had the say of their own even in times where men ruled everything.I have always felt the pain of Sita ma and also Urmila -the unsung heroine of Ramayana.BTW history and mythology are such vast subject and have so many different interpretations.Even Ramayan HAS 300 different versions. What definitely does attract me are women of tremendous strength who dared to challenge the norms of the society

Ou la la, Piu! You can definitely write romance. I am blushing and also feel tangled in a web of emotions and flustered like Jodha and Jalal. If the last chapter was a cliff hanger, this ending can be equated to walking on a tight rope with the ending you left us with! The skeleton is out of the closet. Jodha have words to her pain and sacrifice. Now what will Jalal do to clarify? What if it was not Jalal who killed Raja Bharmal and instead it was Adam? What will Jodha do to Jalal after this confrontation? What will happen to us as we walk this tight rope until we reach the next chapter?

Aww thanks for those wonderful flattering words of appreciation my Dear Virgo🤗 believe me when I read such detailed analysis and comments my cheeks change to a darker shade of flaming red poppies😆😆😆😳😳😳 I did end the whole huge massive updates at a cliffhanger and like you said the skeleton is out of the closet.Up till now if you see both Jodha and Jalaal had not tried to solve their past issues and tried to start a new life ,but as it is said that to start something new one needs to clear the debris of the past and then move on,so this is high time they actually talk about their issues. Regarding your questions..There are certain things very well pointed out..All the queries will be answered in the subsequent updates

I appreciate how you treaded on this romance carefully. It would have been tasteless to have Jalal simply ravish Jodha without heading to her feelings and to Jodha simply give herself as a sacrifice instead of both surrounding one another in a sweet and pure union of love. Oh gosh, Jalal is such a teach! And wow, Jodha's training from the finest courtesan that will drive Jalal crazy abandon when the two actually accept each other wholeheartedly. (In this case, Jodha)

Thanks I am glad that you found the subject and the course of events worthy indeed because I know often such scenes need to be handled with dexterity or they definitely become tasteless..Pheww I did not cross the line😛

What is this? Maham and Bairam as partner's in crime? Am I reading correctly? I push my glasses up the bridge of nose and sit up so to read again and again their conversation. I can understand Maham, that she may hold a grudge since Jalal took Adam's place for the throne but Bairam? Both sharing synical laughters and gurguraying hookah while plotting to get Jodha and Jalal "closer"?! It is quite ironic that Bairam noticed how Anjuman is desperately trying for Jalal's attention while our fast and cunning Maham does not realize that its not Anjuman but Adam who has deprived and driven Anjuman into this state of desperation. Oh well, the more villains, the more fun to see this tangled web of possibilities and how Jalal and Jodha untangle themselves free. I just cannot believe the same baby that Maham breast fead and stayed sleepless nights to hush his cries. . . she calls that same baby a snake? Maham has no heart. By the way will you show something happening between Bairam and Maham!? They seem perfect for each other!

hahahhah😆😆😆Yes actually this wild idea of pitching both of them together came from a fun post in this forum where they suggested a funny Love story between the two scheming people. You are right here Maham is almost the lady with no heart .For her the ties of the blood are more important than humanity. You will have to wait for more conspiracies and hidden deceitful ways in the coming chapters Bole to fodder for masala😆

"Anjuman. . . Kis khet ki mooli ? " as Maham used these words for her daughter-in-law. Ha ha! That was a funny choice of words especially since the song also includes Agra in it! The subtle bollywood flavours add humour and dramatize the story.

🤣OMG YES!!lol😆😆😆

The following 2 verses from your story really stood out to me:

~". . .One thing she knew, or better Princess Jodha knew, to coat her heart with plaster stiffening it and locking it beneath layers of iron bars ,but his pain threatened to melt those, uncage her little heart. . . " Yes indeed Jodha has coated her heart with plasters of heart breaking incidents: The death of her father, the loss of her love Suryabaan, a comrpise and loveless marriage to Jalal the Jalaad and much more and she caged it and locked it with her dharma, the people of amber and her families security. Now she opened this cage and she let Jalal see why she cannot give her heart to him . . . with the rest of the confrontation will be seen in your next chapter!

". . .Two figures-Two incomplete souls now lied there together ,in each other's arms witnessed by the benign gaze of the stars peeping through the window of the night sky which had now cleared. . . " This was such a beautiful snippet. I sighed at romantic this was. Your writing really helps my visual mind! I can definitely imagine this scenario. . . I can totally imagine our Jodha and Akbar from the serial! Paridhi's and Rajat's voice and them enacting these scenes.

Ahh Thanks so much 🤗I am so glad it could touch your heart😳

You are such a tease. I cannot believe you also included a Hamaan scene except this one was with Jodha. I really liked how she was there for Jalal when he was ill. She appeared sincere and truly there for Jalal so he can recover. I really liked how Jodha looses herself in Jalal and when she finally noticed my gosh he is a strong, muscular and regal man! The moments when she studies him it seems that the world around has stopped and when Jalal teases her that you do not have to secretly admire your husband is priceless!!

Ahh Virgo you won't believe -as I had already mentioned in the intro of this story that this fiction was written for another couple and this hamaam scene was penned much before JA had even begun so yes this scene was basically my own idea 😛Co-incidentally JA also had such a haamam scene😳

Coming to Jodha's growing attraction yes,If you see they both actually shared an interesting equation ever since their first meeting .She was attracted to his eyes back then too. Now when she watches his undying love for her and that too by her own husband who is is the full bloom of his youth ,she cannot help but get attracted to him physically .Not only that she is pooled in by the emotional warmth in his eyes for her.

Well, the silence has been broken. A lot of drama has happened in the chapter 5 and 6. I am walking on the tight rope. Jodha exclaimed you killed my father. How will Jalal fix this situation? Just moments ago they were lost in a sweet dalliance and now this passion is painted with confusion, anger, pain and the bitter truth! Thank-You for another mind-blowing story, Piu!

Yes now the much awaited confrontation and their past has to be revealed in the coming chapters and then all your questions will be automatically answered😳Thanks so much for such a detailed and wonderful review🤗Deeply overwhelmed and treasured as always😳😳
