@Poojie-- i figured. but they are dragging this Jodha- Suryabhan thing for long and the thing is that all their parts are snooze-worthy. Actually, all of Rajput bits are boring.

I just know the whole Ruq-Jalal scene of "You're going to be a father!" is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth. I know she's his wife, but just the thought of a man leaving a pregnant wife to pursue another is...uncomfortable. Esp. when they've established such a strong connection between them. I wonder how it'll look to a normal TRP audience.
And doesn't conventional history say that Ruq was barren/Jodha gave Jalal his first offspring/son with Jahangir?

Well you know what I mean- not leave, but he's definitely pursuing another woman/marrying another woman while his wife is pregnant. And while its something that was done all the time in the Mughal era, I'm just saying as someone with modern sensibilities it makes me a little uncomfortable. And will the TRP audience really be satisfied with the whole "Its the Mughal era?" spiel.
It's one thing to see all the wives in the harem because Akbar is shown to spend all his time with Ruq. It's another to show her pregnant, Akbar throwing a huge party/feast, and then going off to Amer to make war to get Jodha. You see what I'm saying?
I'd just be really happy if it was a dream sequence.
