But seriously, wasn't she like a maid of Sanyo in PRC ? 🤔

Then I must say she has required previous experience for this role, 😃

Thanks for reassuring me sweety , now I'm looking forward to see the ' World class ' chemistry between Jalal n new Ruqaya begam . 😉

And yah , Lavina already played the role of a maid in a historical show , so of course she is perfect for the role of Ruqaya . 🤣

Woah THIS girl is the new Ruqaiya?

Errr...wasn't she in PRC too? loll...is this show basically becoming a sequel for all PRC actors? haha...well leaving that aside, this girl...hmmm now I'm more convinced that Ruqaiya will be turned vampish...isn't one "Billo Rani" on Zee Tv enough at this point that we'll have one more cat-eyed vamp?😕😆

And she's prettier than Smiley...where will all the "plain looking girl" labeling go now? LOL

Beautiful episode tonight, you guys. Loved the entry of Chetan. And can we please get an AT for Chetan as Adham Khan? First episode and he is already amazing. Loved the clash between Hamida Banu Begum and Maham Anga. And we finally saw a glimpse of Akbar in Jalal. And Jodha's dance was very beautiful. I love the Rajput scenes these days. They are so pleasant and heart-warming. 😊

July 11th:

Ok episode...I was kinda bored in the first half with the random festivities in Rajput land...I thought Jodha was keeping some vrat...then all of a sudden everyone was celebrating Diwali and I was like😕😆

The scene b/w MA and Hamida Banu was good...for a change Hamida managed to get the upper hand and the show managed to make another historical reference vis a vis Jalal's birth in Umerkot when it was Hindu kings who helped the Mughals...but MA knows how to instill fear in the heart and she worked that quite easily on those frightened Hindu maids.

Adham Khan's entry was good...he's been fleshed out more in comparison to the version in the movie...so I guess they will show him as the ultimate symbol of Mughal atrocities vis a vis all the references made today regarding forced religious conversions and the the Jaziya taxation...they are setting things up well for him to be the primary male antagonist in Jalal's life.

I really liked the last scene...my fav. of the epi...the way the whole scene was played out with the Hindu king asking for an audience with Jalal and Bairam Khan refusing but Jalal turns up anyways...I guess MA's words have hit home and he's exerting more control...the Hindu King asked for a fair exchange of life and after a brief deliberation, Jalal gave in...leaving BK fuming and defeated...I liked how Kingly Jalal was in this scene...and that blue really does suit him...lol

Anu that festival or vrat is Yam dwitiya it comes after Padewa ...
Its popularly called bhai duj too-the vrat is for BROTHERS like Yam -Yami were twins dwij means twins in hindi so the name Bhai duj and DAUJ...
During Dauj Kadhi is made😳

So the sequence in diwali festivity is
DAY ONE--Dhanteras-dhanwatri pujan
DAY TWO-Narak chaturdashi-Choti diwali
DAY THREE-Diwali -the main day
DAY FOUR Padewa-Annakut
DAY -Yam dwitya or Bhai duja😃

he fifth day of Deepavali or Diwali is celebrated as Bhaiya Dooj, popularly know as Bhai Dooj. The name itself denotes the day of the festival i.e it falls on Dooj, the second day after the new moon. The festival of Diwali is not complete without "Bhaiyya-Duj" in the Hindi-speaking belt, "BhavBij" in the Marathi-speaking communities, "Bhai Phota" to the Bengalees and in Nepal by the name of "Bhai-Tika".

As the legend goes Yamraj, the God of Death visited his sister Yami on this particular day. She put the auspicious tilak on his forehead, garlanded him and led him with special dishes and both of them together ate the sweets, talked and enjoyed themselves to their heart's content, while parting Yamraj gave her a special gift as a token of his love and in return Yami also gave him a lovely gift which she had made with her own hands. That is why this day of Bhayyaduj is also known by the name of "YAMA-DWITIYA"

Since then this day is being observed as a symbol of love between sisters and brothers.

In today's world when pressing everyday problems are teaming as under all the tender words of personal relationships, the celebrating of this day has its own importance in continuing to maintain the love between brothers and sisters for it is the day of food-sharing, gift-giving. On this day sisters perform puja for their brothers safety and well being. Brothers in return give gifts to their sisters as a token of love.

Another version is after killing Narakasur, Lord Krishna, went to his sister Subhadra who welcomed him in the traditional way by showing him a light and putting on his forehead a tilak of her sisterly protection. Another myth behind this begins as when Bhagawaan Mahavir found nirvana, his brother Raja Nandivardhan was distressed because he missed him and was comforted by his sister Sudarshana. Since then, women have been revered during this festival.

Oh ok thanks for explaining...I didn't know Diwali involved so many fasts😕😆...I only know about the Laxmi Pooja on the main day...oh well.

Ekta's getting the chance to unleash her full dose of festivals in this show...even ones she generally can't show in her shows...waah waah😆...now if only the festivals were SHOWN that beautifully...but ofcourse production values us level ki hain nahin.

Oh yes Anu..Diwali Is a huge huge Festival😳Pura 5 days ka celebration. It was interesting for Ekta to use Yam dwitya because Yam and Yamuna were twins..Even when we put tika on that day on the brother's forehead..they actually recite the mantra.. "May my brother becomes immortal like Yamraj..."

@Production Values😆😆😆😆😆Arey CRAP at its best..I did not like the dance at all🤢Paridhi is so graceful kuch acha seq daal sakte the...
I am watching Bhatiyani right now😆😆😆Uff Vallah kya production values hai👏👏👏sorry off topic but comparisons are inevitable and BG score is so unique...

Episode Review: 11/07/2013

A good episode!!.. I was happy to the see the Rajputs after seeing RuqLal for soo long.. and Jodha wants to celebrate the older version of Bhai Dhuj I suppose... and they are planning to go Mathura via Agra... is AkDha meeting on the way?? 😳

Maham Anga stopping all the hindu festivities..again paves way for the changes that will be brought out when Jodha comes in the Mughal world.. Looks like Hamida Banu might be supportive of Jodha and she might be the first one Jodha will grow friendly to..

Adham Khan is introduced.. and it was really sad to see how these hindus were forcefully converted into Islam.. .. Again is Jodha going to bring the change here as well??..

Bairam Khan is misusing his powers a lot.. and where was he sitting by the way??..😕...hopefully not on the throne.. 😕

I am glad Jalal didn't kill that Rajput king.. and slowly he is deciding for himself rather than being Bairam Khan's puppet.. 👏...Good Going Jalal..😃

Precap: the same ratt of getting jalal's head 🥱...but looks like the promo scene might happen tomorrow..

In all it was a good episode...coz there was no Jalal-Ruquiya...whom I was getting bored off...and also Rajat has improved tremendously for me in terms of expressions...no OTTness for me 👏😃
