All about my mother
Rakshanda behaved like a mom when I was unwell. She would call me at least 15 times a day to check on me

I was so used to my mother sitting next to me and putting me to sleep, I wouldn't even know that she was there.
She would check on me in the middle of the night and when I used to go party, I'd make it a point to not make it too late, not because there were restrictions, but because she'd stay awake waiting for me.
And the first question she'd ask me when I was back would be, "Khaana khaaya?" That's how simple moms are.
I used to speak to her everyday — on my way to work, during the lunch break and at night. Funnily, the first question that she would ask me was, "Khaana khaaya?" And I would go, "Yes mom." And she would ask me, "Kya khaaya?" I would just try and end it with, "Khaana khaaya," again.
Since I was all alone in the city all through the making of Jassi, the only person very very close to me was Rakshanda. I used to be with her 24x7.

Even when I met with an accident, I didn't inform my parents, and she stayed with me in the hospital. She didn't sleep a wink.
I especially thought that Rakshanda behaved like a mom when I was unwell. She would call me at least 15 times a day to check on me. I'd tell her, "Rakshu, just stop it. I'm not a kid. We're all grown ups and can take care of ourselves."
