I had been thinking of writing this for weeks but didn't get time. Now the finale is here, it is my last chance.
God knows. 😆 I'm so fed up with the reality shows and some GREAT judges like the ones we have in this show. One judge says: Sur gaye bhand me..and gives high marks to her fav singer and other two keep on saying sur bikhra tha.. It is a competition and all the participants are good but the judges should not expect them to be GREAT. It takes a lot to give 100% in a dance and singing competition, live. They forget that the original songs are recorded after RETAKES.
I remember I think it was Shekhar Suman who said that even if Rafiji or Kishoreda would come disguised to sing in a reality show today, they would be told that the performance was not good, so why expect more from these poor boys.
You judge after seeing a performance and one almighty gives 10 to Rahul and mentally pressurizes him ... is he kidding? How can you judge without seeing the performance, You are AUTHORIZED to give marks only after watching that particular performance. If the participant gives straight answer, you are being called rude and if no straight answer they are being lambasted for being diplomatic. I really felt bad for Ruprekha in first episode itself when she was being SCOLDED. She was absolutely right when she said that comment and lots of people thought she is rude.. oh please first make up your mind what you want to listen.
Above all, what I really really do not understand is why we always have judges who does not have the qualification to be the judge. A director for a dance show, a choreographer for a singing competition... I guess we are not really looking for a winner but TRPs. And I hope we are not looking for a future to have actors/actresses as judges in Saregamapa.... just because they have no work and have time to be judges...
