A Farewell to Vinit and the Judges

At this point in the competition, its tough to see any contestant leave the show. We all have our favorites and we all know what its like to see them go. In a competition, there's always someone who has to leave. And keeping that in mind, its hard to see anyone go, without creating havoc. I'd just like to say that Vinit had to go now or later, honestly I don't think he could've won the competition. However it is quite unfortunate that he left after performing well, and that in the truest sense is loss not only for Vinit but also for the contestants that will be leaving in the coming weeks. Even performing well does not guarantee you a place in the competition. Public voting ... don't get me started. 🤢 However, keeping all that in mind, let's hope that Vinit and all the other singers that have been eliminated move on to bigger and better things in life. And as Shekhar once said, we don't want to see them in reality shows anymore, but rather hear them doing what they were meant to do ... playback singing.

Moving on, I have lost all respect for the judging in this competition. Just because Farah's favorite left does not mean that they can alter the whole judging system. If Vinit shouldn't have left, are the judges implying that Abhijeet should have left? 😕 However, hats of to Vishal for judging appropriately for once. 😃

Givings 8s to everyone today was ridiculous. They just made 7s and 8s, the new 9s and 10s. What an achievement. And Farah's 10 for Harshit was icing on top of an already toppling cake. 🤢 She gave Harshit a 10 and gave Debojit an 8, wow, life really isn't fair.

And lastly, Harman Baweja, I think the poor guy was taught to only comment on the performer's energy. Good thing he looks like Hrithik Roshan, at least my family had something to discuss while he was talking.

I'm not sure if I was so bitter watching this episode after the judges did a complete and ludicrous turn on their so called judging or the episode really was that bad, but I truly hope tomorrow's episode turns out to be better. Keeping my finger's crossed!

Yep. The fact that Farah gave Harshit a 10 was ludicrous. Such blatant favoritism on this show. 🤢

yep so true but i was happi vishal evened it out 😆........debo def deserved 9's......... they all got 8's but they all din sing the same😡

just sit on d judges chair n u'll realise its always easier to pojnt fingers at others...its sooooo easy fr us to hoot fr our favs n call names at the judges wen our favs get bad marks cuz they perform badly but we oh pleez how can we ever NOT lyk our favs performance we have to HAVE to just hav eto luv it n cum in here ns ay he deserved a 10 or a 9 atleast ..do u think the judges r fools?? or they r gaining sumthing out of being biased ...i still maintain vishal shekar r the least biased judges on tv till date!!!

Whoa, hold up there. Because of the fact that people are so obsessed with their favorites, voting always goes wrong. And since you ask, yes I do think sometimes the judges are extremely foolish. Not having any technical sense of music, even I'm able to tell that Harshit did not deserve the 10 that he got yesterday. I'm not a big fan of Debojit, but I won't deny that he sang extremely well and definitely crept out of his shell yesterday. These judges were given a duty to judge these contestants properly and that's exactly what they should be doing. Yesterday however, they ruined any sense of that scoring system of theirs. All their standards have been changed and it seems like the three judges are judging three different contestants. If they are judging three different things then they should be clearly state what those three things are and exactly how the judging/scoring will be from now on. Instead, each is going about their own way, giving out 6s and 10s. How ridiculous is that. If they really mean to have each judge, judge from different perspectives it could actually work out ... but they have to be clear and share that with the contestants. And you're asking me not to point fingers, who else is to blame if the judges themselves are giving out scores that hold no meaning anymore? Plus, no matter how sexy Shekar or any of the other judges are, it doesn't make them right.

I'm a big V-S fan as well, but that doesn't make their complete lack of appropriate judging in this show any less noticeable.
