its simple: he thot if toshi got in this competition, toshi wud be bettterrr, n ofcoursee why wud he want someone better than him!!

I can add one more reason....i dont agree that Toshi can sing better than Debo but debo was playing dirty politics becos Toshi and Himani had a stronger vote bank than Amit tandon....and Debo didnt want to take chances becos he had already come in bottom 3 in the previous few episodes ... its that simple !!!

I agree Manali... His Performance on friday was not up to the level in comparison to his previous performances..

Check the highlighted part.....between the 3, Amit had less/no vote bank...
