why people dont like toshi

Toshi is considered as one of the best talent in musical field in india. He was always praised in VOI and he has fan following who never seems to give up. However during JJWS i have found many people dont like him. He is the most bashed contestan in JJWS forum. He is classically trained and some say its his asset and some say he couldnt use that asset properly. Bottom line there are many people who dont like. I wanna know indivisual reason for that.

i dont think anyone has any probs with Toshi as such...but he isnt singing well in JJWS and personally I feel he should be voted out of JJWS...but i do wish him success in his other singing projects to come

It is not that People don't like Toshi.

I like Toshi as a person. I know he is trained singer too. But how he uses his talent or over uses it which bothers me. I get turned off by over singing and using sargams or harkats. He also goes off sur in low notes and is shouting in high notes at times. So there is nothing personal against him. It is about his singing and only singing 😳

I love his bro Sharib as a singer and as a person 😛

I think above all its because he hasnt been performing as well as he used to. Im a very big fan of Toshi's and despite his performances in jjws, i still believe he is a good singer. BUt lately i find im making excuses for him as to why he isnt doing well which is quite sad. Maybe the accident has affected his singing ability. He never used to have a breathing problem in his singing before...and now...what else could be the reason?

I like Toshi a lot...and I don't think it's because of his performance at all...because if any other contestant is not performing well, their fans don't seem to give up...and these reality shows reality don't have much to do with performance...Yes, Toshi is not doing the best...but at the same time he is not the worst also..may be the negative comments of judges is influencing people...which I don't really agree with...he is a fabulous singer and he proved himself loads of time..Abhijeet also not doing good at all for past few weeks....that doesn't mean he should be voted out next week or shouldn't win this competition...I really think the environment of JJWS is really influencing Toshi a lot...but I really hope he get the chance to finally prove himself to shut the mouths of his basher!

I agree fully. This is what is causing faulty singing by him. With that I felt he has become bit over confidant too. There is otherwise no doubt that he is a good singer. He needs to calm down and get the basics right instead of trying the new things. All will fall into place again.

Agree with Bhaskar and Varsha di ... no one here has anything personal against Toshi or anyone else for that matter! Its only his bad performances that are being criticised! He needs to continue his riyaaz and stop doing these reality shows for a while! He is straining himself too much!

Toshi is definitely the most discussed contestant! His charisma may have something to do with that.

As for his participation in JJWS, if there's one thing that has become quite clear, it's that his gayaki is not "philmi". He will find work in Bollywood, yes, but he will not make it as a bread-and-butter playback singer.

He will be a star of a different kind. That is, if he has the head and heart to realize that what these shows are really offering him is the exposure, and not the prospect of winning.

yes i agree...but his voice also matches bollywood style as well...he sang some songs of MD. Rafi...and those were simply mind blowing...yes, his range is good for sufiana songs...but he can so extremely well with soft songs also...
