In voice of India and also some other reality singing shows they used to start the show with a performance by all the participants...don't u think in JJWS they should do it again...so that the show starts with a entertaining performance instead of Mandira's voice...and that way we would get a chance to watch an extra performane...

Yeah that's right...but closing performance not include dance and setup...that's why I prefer opening performance like dhoom tana and do u wanna partner...if in start they give a performance like this it also give the audience a thrill and mood...i wish they do it every week...

Are they being tested for their dancing skills? As far as I can tell, their professionalism is directed towards singing. We can do without amateur dancing and other non-essentials, unless the real idea is to see who can make us laugh the hardest. (I really don't understand this subcontinental preference for gratuitous buffoonery in public performances.)

I was not talking abt their real performances...i knw that their singing is most important...i was just telling abt the opening performance which is purely for entertainment and to set the mood..don't having a good feeling thinking of a opening performance where all 7/8 participants are singing standing side by side...dhoom tana had the singing along with dancing...and it was great etertainment to see that...it has nothing to do with their original performance..if only singing would matter these days...i guess there should be singing reality shows in radio not in tv...

Well, I suppose some people's mood improves at the sight of amateurish dancing or whatever...

The TV shows are disasters to watch, with camera angles cutting on average every 2 seconds or so, uncoordinated zooming and unzooming, and other apparently flashy "kaida" that, to me, looks most like channel surfing with a remote when one is bored. A lot of the time I just mentally switch off from what I'm seeing and concentrate on what I'm hearing. When the production values come up to professional standards, I might just consider watching.

Well. I guess it's up to one's choice...everyone has his own taste and own likings...so there is nothing really to argue about...I respect your view...and at the time i have mine too..nway i'll still love to watch them perform lively..
