I get upset when the judges say things like the challengers are not up to the mark and the champions are singing better than the challengers. I mean, the judges especially should realize that the champions have a huge advantage each week. The champions only have to prepare one song each week. The challengers on the other hand have to prepare two songs. The first song they sing when they are still challengers, and then they have to have a second song ready if they move over to the champion side. It is much easier to do well if you only have to prepare one song. After all you get to concentrate entirely on perfecting that one song. The judges should either wise up, or stop playing favorites.
