Fact is what they did on Saturday marred the actual performance. How many of us really remember the performances. Its just the tears and tissue papers that now is left in our memory. The whole emotional part of ALL the contestants could have been done more subtly. They went tooooo overboard and somehow ended into putting actual singing as #2.

Can't agree more with you here. The emotional rona dhona actually took the attention away from singing. I felt that too. Best example is Vinit getting a 10 from Farah even after missing sur on that high note😕 It was as if the tears were getting the points.

I agree that debo would still have got a perfect 30 for his brilliant performance but it was way too obvious that the intent behind bringing those four lades on the set was to again re-kindle the public sympathy based on "maa ka sapna" that worked so well for him during c-2005. He did end up being in bottom 3 couple of times here as well despite good singing. That's why appealing to the emotional side of public to get sympathy votes.

What's good for the goose shd be good for the gander as well. If Rahul is asked to refrain from natak-bazi then so shd Debo😊

Debojit's stupendous singing 👏 was over shadowed by so much sad drama. At the same time Rahul's fantastic singing was undershadowed b/c of no drama. Just an example. He also got low marks for fantstic singing IMHO 😳

Debo should not be singled out in here. The drama went on with most singers and the crying went on and on. As bhaskar mentioned one hour show was stretched to hour and a half.

Adi you are misunderstanding my post. I have alot of sympathy for people but somethings better not shown to the level which can be a turn off for public. It goes for all contestants.

I am against all drama be it crying, reading fan-love letter, offering ring, etc. So i am not singling this one situation out at all.

Thanks bhaskar for your understanding and support in my post. Singing definitely took back seat to drama in Mday episode. I had to watch the show 2nd time to catch the best singing part by all and with my luck my DVR went into malfunction and did not record after debojit's performance. Abhijit, Vinit and Harshit singing I can't enjoy again. So back to watching those performances on puter with my luck 😳

I am also planning to watch the show again just to catch the awesome singing this time. I will fast fwd all the dramabazi this time and enjoy the singing part. Debo and Hrashit were out of this world and Rahul, Abhijeet and Ishmeet were also very good!!!

There has been a lot of discussions about all the drama in that episode. Frankly, I don't care about the drama as long as it is not a fake love story of lambu ji and tingu ji. Even if it is filled with dramas, all that matters to me is good singing. And this episode was full of it.

Whatever, it is Debu has proved once again how good of a singer he really is. I would like to see the faces of some of the vindictive judges of C 2005 now. He has proved once again that he is better than all the squeaky voices. 😉 Shekhar saying that it felt like Kishore Kumar singing is a huge huge compliment.

Yes Appa ji, Debo was awesome today and I said the exact same thing to my hubby....I would love to see HR's face right now...especially when tingu faltered on high note.

Personally, I am very proud of Debo for staying in touch with those old ladies who he visited during c-2005. It shows what a wonderful human being he is BUT I do not like the fact of getting some mileage out of this good deed. That's my whole point. Anything besides singing shd not give any contestent an edge over the other one.

Rahul's mother can come on the set and sing two lines, Prajakta's mother can come to the set and sing two lines, Ishmeet's mother can come to the set and tell about Ishmeets nahane wala story, Harshits mother can send him besan ka laddoo, Abhijeets mother can come to the sets and feel proud of her son,, but Debu's mothers cannot come to the set or he should not talk about it, for it will then only be sympathy and attention attraction technique... it will be getting him mileage... why is that ?😳

Debu I guess needs my votes more than defending his so called actions 😆...

He sang like a dream.. and despite the non musical stuff, i remember his performance... actually not only his but of the whole lots... and in the end from this episode thats all I will remember...👏

I couldn't be any happier. Vinit squeaking in the same episode where Debu was the best. I must say that Debo has turned into a fantastic singer. The depth of his voice now is awesome. However, Vinit did not improve much as a singer. He still has a squeaky voice, still has problems on the low notes.

Finally, Debu has not changed as a person after all his success. He is still the same humble and down to earth person as he was in C 2005.
