Just watched the Grand Finale

The other day i was watching the Grand finale from season 1 which had guests like Bipasha Basu, Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan and more and guest singers like Sonu Nigam, Anwesha, Aishwariya etc. There were lots of performances and the 3 finalists sang multiple times and there were awards, games etc.

This time the Finale was short and fast compared to last season, i am kind of dissapointed i expected so much more!

But well, Himesh rocked the stage and i was super happy to see Rahul again 😳 The awards were kind of stupid though but Sharib really made me laugh with his reaction and speech 😆

I really missed Aneek, Vaishali and Shivam 😔
Contestants performance were nice, and so was Shaan, he looked really handsome but why did Anwesha not sing?

Irfans Lukki Chuppi was amazingly sung and really touching! and as a big Sreeram fan i have to say that i liked his Vande Mataram performance but it was not that special. Even Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was nice but not that impressive, i wish they could have sung more songs, i mean come on its a grand finale! 😕

It didnt matter for me who would win between the two. Sreeram already won Indian Idol so i am happy for Irfan!
It made me even more happy when Himesh said that he would give a chance to the runner up, so that means Sreeram will be singing for Himesh yaay

To conclude, its very sad JJWS is over now, will miss this show a lot 😭 I was always looking forward to the weekends to watch the performances of my favourite singers again.

Aneek, Sreeram, Sharib, Irfan, Shivam your voices will be missed!

The finale hasn't aired in the USA yet, I'll catch it in a couple hours time. I am disappointed Aneek wasn't present though. 😔 I'm also disappointed the show's over because putting all the drama aside, it was wonderful to tune in every week to hear my favorite singers perform. I'm going to miss Aneek, Sreeram, Anwesha and Sharib sing. I wish them and all the contestants the best, hopefully we can catch more performances of theirs sometime soon.
