Sorry cant agree. i didn't say he doesn't know anything. he definitely a good singer and knows about music a lot. What i'm saying i felt he was showing off.

Not saying this to make anyone angry so please don't be mad all Shivam fans but i think he deserved to go back to the challengers today... I liked Shivam a lot during indian idol, he was so humble now i feel he has just become over confident. He is a great singer, but until he does something about his attitude I don't think he'll do very well...

Well now here I begin about my views of todays performances...

Sreeram- Range De Basanti
Well honestly, just the moment he started, I felt like he lacked power.
While finishing the lines, surs used to shake a lil. In between he did go besura many a times.
The addition of Tarana (Carnatic) in between was actually GOOD. Interesting.
But he did go besura at tyms espicially during the Antara... Overall a gud performance... 7/10
About the ending totally agree wid Mika...But the song itself was a lil high for Sreeram...

Aneek- Rutt Aa Gayi Re
Now he started with an Alaap in Raaga Basant...Which was gud..
As soon as began, I was taken into some another world. He did full justice with the song...Did lose his sur a very few times...But its such a tough song..
And the harkat with Rutt chha Gayi Re was really gud... The most beautiful part was the Mukhda...
And the way he ended the song it was really beautiful...Some tough variations were there.. 9.5/10 AWESOME...A total treat after Sreeram's performance.

Akanksha- Ab Ke Saawan..
Wow this lil gal is really singing well for her age..This song is quite tough..She begins with an Alaap in Raaga Des and then a Rock beat begins...And she starts off really well...Did go besura a few times...
Well she gave a lot of rock feel to it..The guitar solo was awesome...
The variations she added was gud...But the pitch was getting a lil difficult to control...Murkhian achhi thi but cud've had more control over them..Really gud Akanksha...Keep it Up... 8.5/10

Sanchita- Gun Guna
Well she was singing really well...everything was fine..
gud control over voice, powerful voice..But she forgets in between..
Now thats a problem...But then she makes quite a gud comeback as well...It was a really gud performance...I dnt care about the mistake she made much...Yes, I agree wid Mika...That part was gud... :) 8.5/10

Irfan- Kaavan kaavan
well..He started off really well...this song has some really powerful beats...And need a powerful voice which Irfan has...This was truly the second best performance of the day...
The notes were beautifully weaved and held...Especially the Udd jaa part..
Now the sargam was the part where he lost a lil control..It cud've been a lil more crispier...But thats alright...A very gud performance overall...

Shivam...
no comments...he also went a lil betaala...so it was a really bad thing...Besura is still tolerable but BETAALA...never ever... 5/10..

Sreeram- It was simply not his day today, his voice is best suitable for songs with low pitch, his voice wasn't suitable for a song like rang de basanti. He absolutely went besura in between and somewhere near the end where he was standing with mika. Singing lacked power but performance was epic, audience really went crazy. 7.5/10 for me, 27 by judges were more then he deserved. :)

Aneek- Ras gullah <333 I love this guy man <333 He sang exceptionally well today, everything was perfect. No mistakes by him, totally in sync and singing remained powerful till the end of his performance. Enjoyed his performance very much. 8.5/10 for me :))

Aakansha- She started really well, she tend to loose control in the song and went very very high which was more like shouting rather then singing. But leaving those parts apart she was really good. :) 8/10 :)

Sanchita- She was melodic and i was really enjoying because the singing was exceptionally well keeping in mind that the song itself is really difficult but her comeback was great and the performance was powerful, if she hadn't forgot those lines she was the best performer today for me at least. But she went wrong 8/10 for me :)

Irfan- He sang really really well, the song was enjoyable itself and he made it more enjoyable. This wasn't the best he could sing but it was a really really good performance better then all the others. 9/10, i strongly disagree with the points judges gave him but nevermind, tiger will return with a bang next week :D

Shivam- *wait...* Challenger to champion.. Champion to challenger in one day which clearly speaks that he was a non deserving candidate for that champion post. Today's performance was the worst overall in this season of JJWS.

Sreeram: Daler Mehandi sang this song so well and his voice is so well suited that it was going to be a difficult task. Sreeram's voice quality is softer but he did a great job with that limitation. I found only one portion where he lost sur but except Aneek no one else was flawless today. I loved it when he sang the end portion because he was so much better than Shivam.Carnatic portion was great.

Aneek: Simply superb. In the zone performance. No flaws at all.

Akanksha: One of my favorite singers. Sang with a lot of gusto but lost sur in a few places and voice needs to develop a little more.

Irfan: Like the judges said, technically perfect but lacked energy. His voice is a lot like Javed Ali.

Sanchita: Even without missing the lyrics, not her best today.

Shivam: Really poor performance. Judges were actually a little too kind to him.

Anweshaa has sung very well, she should get more points, but judges did not give her that, always giving her to sing last I don't know why?

Just finished watching. Loved it. Some great choice of songs and singing.

- Sharib: Didn't really enjoy it. He's a better composer than singer. As a singer, he sings really well in parts but not that good overall.
- Nihira: Fantastic. Absolutely mesmerizing especially the classical portions. Such flawless singing.
- Hemant- Great emotional quality to the song. Singing needs more refinement but he's very young so that's understandable.
-Sonia: Man she's got such a booming voice. Not the best today because of how good Nihira and Vaishali were but still a great performance. Lacked a bit of passion in parts
-Rahman: Started great but didn't sing the antara very well. Not very good.
-Vaishali- Simply top notch. Such effortless modulation. I liked Nihira's performance a little better but just because I like that song better.
- Anwesha: I think the losses have dented her confidence a bit. Slightly shaky start but beautiful singing in parts. Such a beautiful voice.
-Torsha- She has a very silken voice but her ability to sing isn't comparable to the rest. Good choice for elimination really.
