Yes, the episode in the second half since Jhanak enters the dhabba, to the ride in hospital and then in hospital when she opened her heart for her Sirji without hesitation was worth watching and made it one of the best episode so far.

Hiba was the star. Starting from her immediate alertness , then concern, protectiveness, possessiveness for his safety, fighting for his life like a lioness and then outpouring her heart, without caring of who is there in the surrounding. I had continuous tears rolling down my eyes.

Why I am talking mostly about Jhanak as character and Hiba as actress here, because we all know Krushal aces in such scenes. So he was effortlessly there to enhance Jhanak's feeling but it was one of the rare times that I could actually feel Jhanak's deep deep love for her Sirji.

I know the hospital drama was a drag and only AK was sane in that scene but I think it was needed for Jhanak to outpour her heart to her Sirji. That was a worthy watch so I can happily ignore that drag.

The actual love story journey of Runak has embarked. Now I want Leena ji to focus on their fight for their love together for at least some time and show their acceptance for each other before she bring any other track and problem in their life. If she breaks this flow when people are all highly looking forward to it, it will be a big let down.

Her previous drags has only made us look forward to this track even more, but at this moment, I do not want the momentum to be broken.

Few scenes of Anirudh which touched so well,

1st - Arshi pulling her hand when he held. In fraction of seconds he showed his shock on her behaviour

2nd - Jhanak's 'Sir ji' and the relief that he felt

3rd - the car scene - ohh.. both aced there with the song. His physical pain, pain of her previous hurt yet the soothing feeling of being in his lap

4th - Calling 'Jhanak' before passing out.

Anu the mentioned numbered points were the highlight, when she said meri liye aankhe kholo and he opened his eyes to look at her and his fading Jhanak ....

That was wonderful..

Like u said if Leena aunty breaks the momentum the beauty will be lost..

Hope she shows then united for some time and then bring in the drama ...

Primary among that Ani’s crazed reaction to her going away… or not accepting her NO as it wasn’t the first time she was doing and so how much of the night they remembered is also mystery and meant filling in the dots - I did the filling in for both.

Anyways… if you read the narrative as Jhansk having been in a position to minimise Ani’s issues earlier, I guess we are seeing the story differently and we are both invested in the story means that’s the power of story telling.

I read the narrative as Jhanak having lived with the realisation of love far longer and therefore she carries the burden of the dilemma longer too. At the same time I recognise Ani could not have realised it sooner and carried that burden longer and get the empathy from the audience. So in that sense Leena has posited the two characters so well. Ani’s dilemma or problem will come through now and rightly so as if he had known it earlier he may have worked on it sooner. I am not saying him doing earlier would have helped the story.
somehow everything had its time and place and it just fits so well.
To me these are two special characters.. their personality traits, their backstory everything making their love journey special and I root for their love fervently

I feel with the ONS/pregnancy track, the writers sort of crossed a rubicon beyond the generally acceptable level of MUs on ITV.....lol....to show that kind of a turn without Runak even being able to communicate on a basic level about their issues/expectations with each other and then cutting off all communication for over a month was a very strange way to go about this. My guess is that she only did it to increase episode count by adding 100 more epis and was always confident she can pull back the threads to make the ONS/pregnancy tamasha moot

Lo and behold, she made it moot by turning the pregnancy into a tumor and now putting Runak's love and yearning for each other above the baggage of whatever happened with the ONS and post that....lol if the pregnancy had ended with a miscarriage, then it would have been harder to repair the level of mess that she had opened up.

Too many gimmicks were added back to back so frankly it was hard to keep sight about who can minimize whose burdens more.....my main irritation has been with Jhanak's communication style since the Kashmir track. Before that, both Ani and Jhanak used to take turns doing gol gol talks with each other but writers started going overboard with Jhanak's accusations from the Kashmir track in a very passive aggressive way and that has derailed things for a long time.

Now if their intent is indeed to show some progression beyond both stewing in presumptions, then some improvement in communication is definitely needed before the future round of MUs....lol

Well said Ay. All these gimmicks are to just increase the number of episodes. Now if they really need to show progress, then as you aid straight communication model has to be established between the leads as what is their current feelings towards each other expectations from each other.

The story is at a critical juncture now where they have to make the contrast between Arshi and Jhanak very clear for the audience.

For 300 epis, Jhanak has mostly been walking away from Ani for some reason or the other while Ani has been struggling between fighting to make her stay and then trying to move on each time she leaves him/pushes him away......Arshi has been gloating since quite some time about how only she is loyal to Ani, only she loves Ani, only she knows him the most etc. etc....this is why now it needs to be brought out clearly just how much who loves whom.

Arshi herself has abandoned Ani openly in front of everyone and justified her reason for doing so by claiming he is dhokebaaz...while Jhanak is being shown realizing that Ani has reached this stage of lifelessness and hopelessness because he was heartbroken by her brutal treatment of him..so now she is fighting everyone - the hospital people, Bose family, God himself for her love for Ani.

I agree with your analysis of Arshi and J's contrast when it comes to loving Ani..

Arshi repeatedly said that she will remain loyal to him as she loves him, despite his dhoka..

J also felt Ani cheated her after pregnancy happened and he didn't accept the claim.. but when it came to life and death situation, she forgot everything and her entire focus shifted to Anirudh's wellbeing...

I hope in the upcoming legal problems track, the evil BH wasis, atleast Tanuja as a mother, sees the difference between Arshi and J in terms of how both treat Ani in times of emergency..

For me the highlight of today’s episode were

Adi…& Bodomo for different reasons

Adi - thank you for behaving like the only responsible adult around. Emotions acchi baat hoti hain but practical hona samay par aur bhi acchi baat hain. hope you continue being a supportive friend…if that’s possible not to do as your heart is attached, I hope you make a graceful exit. Am a fan of gender neutral supportive friendships at workplace, Leena aap ye karengi I hope 😃 Humara Ani waise hi pareshaan aur mat karo!!

Bodoma…To back your instinct, all it requires is innate trust. Bodoma displayed why she has backed Jhanak and Ani. At the height of the baby track, she was asked by Jhanak’ how can she and Ani both be right? She said it’s possible. It was proved ( ofc due to drama 😃) both could be right. Today, she asked Arshi couldn’t you think he may be ill? Another comeback that I like today from Bodoma is her telling Arshi that even the enslaved save one agency for themselves- of their thought. She has put that to good use usually

Arshi couldn’t relate to that possibility of Ani being actually ill cos she has completely lost trust. I loved how Leena places every character in a place where if you put yourself in that situation, your thinking would seem it’s rational to back your own instinct. ( however bad it be) Writers of soaps like Ekta clones etc, Gul can take a leaf out of Leena’s book in how they write characterisation of villains, grey characters etc. Shubho, Tanuja or others may not be wishing ill for Ani but their thinking is so clouded by what they dislike in Ani, Shristi’s constant machinations, their own complexes that they weren’t able to react to their loved one’s health scare objectively. They brought subjectivity into play.

Drama Queen and Drama king anointed for a reason… ❤️ they vibes match Shristiji naamkaran ke liye shukriya.

At this stage, I don't consider Arshi as a grey character...she may not be a vamp by definition, but she is surely a negative character, a bad human being...not an ounce of humanity is left in her ..the way she abandoned Ani today is beyond redemption..even if she's not believing him completely, still being an educated person, she could understand that something is wrong with his health as he was profusely sweating and complaining of chest pain...is she dumb or what??I hope Leena comes up with an apt poetic justice track for her brutality soon..

I don't have any expectations from evil Bose fam waale seeing this contrast ....but hopefully atleast good Bose fam can see it and start bajaaoing Arshi more if she still tries to claim love and loyalty to Ani.

I suspect this is why both Choton and Bodomaa were shown asking Arshi why she couldn't give Ani some regard as a wife when he was ill also so that later on they can come back and remind her that you abandoned the duty of a wife while Jhanak fulfilled it with full sincerity by going above and beyond for Ani when he really needed it.

All this drama is being done when Arshi isn't even a wife for real lol but whatever for the sake of drawing the contrast I guess

I hope Jhanak can now stop using the same kind of language her Arshi didi uses for Ani and atleast differentiate herself there by showing some more respect for the man she claims to love the most

I'm waiting to see how they depict her once she learns Ani actually had a heart attack....right now she is justifying herself to everyone like she's convinced he was faking only so she did right by abandoning him. If she tries to resume the sati savitri act of main Ani se kitna pyar/fikar karti hoon in the hospital, then pata lagega if makers are interested in handing her Karma or will continue victimizing her.

But in general, they seem to be trying to justify this inhumanity of her character by saying that Ani lied to her too many times so now her losing her humanity over it is justified from her POV.

I hope someone in the story points out what Ani did for her after the burning incident to counter this narrative that he deserved inhumanity for lying to Arshi.

Waise it does seem like finally everyone in the story has accepted that Ani only loves Jhanak, not Arshi

Even Arshi has stopped asking Ani if he loves her...she only keeps talking about how she loves him.

But now makers will decimate that claim also by proving that Arshi doesn't love Ani either....and that is how they are setting up a permission structure for the non-viability of this rishta in the eyes of the show's characters also....lol

I mean who are these people who still think that Arshi is a good person!!!Whether makers try to justify her actions with the reasoning that Since Ani lied to her many a times that's why she's not believing, she will still be a pathetic individual to me...

Ofcourse she will be crying and praying seeing Ani's condition which she will believe after doctors will give a nod...that doesn't mean her today's deed can be undone or whitewashed..

I lost respect and sympathy for her the day she decided to stay with Anirudh despite knowing he has fallen for J and both are married, i.e., after the Runak marriage reveal..

...and I do believe if you are a good human being you will not loose your humanity no matter the cost..
