Anirudh, if at all apne aapko save kar raha hai from intimacy that may be due to influence of Jhanak's middle class value system which prohibits intimacy before marriage on him.. Deep down, even Anirudh knows that anishit marriage is yet to be completed and moreover he has feelings for Jhanak..and everyone is going mad about the SR and his interest in consummation.. my understanding is, SR doesn't necessarily mean that the couple will have s*x that night only...it's just a ritualistic night...Given how soft hearted and sensitive Anirudh is, he would not have done anything intimate with Arshi that night...

Bold - Tbh, I am not bothered about all this. I signed up for a tale involving infidelity issues ( if nothing emotional infidelity is there) and a moral conflict angle story so my curiosity is how they surmount it. I am “the jung pe ja rahe ho aur auzaar se darr kaisa”?

Just enjoying the fun discussions here but I get your point and believe that to be the intention of the writer. The writer may blur many lines but will be wary of backlash of an audience that holds the J Ani bond precious.

Having said that In this day and age I don’t wish to speculate on how two consenting adults conduct their love or loveless life. 😂😂

It makes me think though , if jhanak confesses , let’s say she does I am sure he will be touched his doubts will be cleared (although this dumb head should have understood she loves him and no one else long ago ) , won’t he feel angry ?

If jhanak indeed had feelings for him all along , she rejected him so many times, but if she confesses now , won’t he blame her pushing him to arshi ? Won’t he feel hurt jhanak why she never claimed her rights and let the marriage get annulled ? He is equally at fault but now He is trapped in an unwanted relationship with Arshi that he can’t easily get out of … He can ask her easily , where was she till now ? Why didn’t she say this before … and it’s too late for her to confess as he can’t change anything now !

Let’s say ani won’t get mad , he also confesses … but she can also choose to show confession from jhanak like I will always love you and only you but I know you can never me mine and your commitment and love is for Arshi … etc etc … give a half baked confession like ani did … I love you but I will fulfill my responsibilities 😅 and ani can agree to this as well … yes jhanak I love you too but it’s better for us to not stay to together lol 😆

And that is the reason why I think leena won’t hesitate to show a confession from jhanak this time lol… she has been having this anirudh is my husband thoughts all of a sudden out of the blue , wants to wear his fav color (which we came to know recently ! ) , want to sing for him, want to announce on stage she can die for him … this is very odd coming from jhanak … and may be this is the reason … because they have plenty of ways left to still delay the story even after the confession …

But I want to be wrong about this … and I want it to go the route where both confesses and then that is it … bht that’s my way if I write this story and feels too good to be true for jhanak land 🤔😅 but my prayers are with how you want it to end because I want the same ❤️

No, the only reason Ani is trying hold these baseless rumors about Jhanak is that she hasn’t confessed nor made him feel as if she has feelings for him too. The damn in him is roka howa… galati se bhi if Jhanak confesses, all his repressed emotions will unleash. I don’t think he will be devoted towards Arshi. Writer from the beginning is showing love story between to be brother in law and sister… the emotional cheating has been going on for quite sometime from both sides ! If Jhanak confesses he will be on cloud 9 ...because all his insecurities are because she doesnt confess her feelings . They both know they love each other , but pata nahi why they need the cliche of I Love you ...may be because of Arshi's existence .

Like you said if its a confession that is with conditions , then damn it we will have to watch an EMA too...but not EMA as the legality of marriage is still hanging....

And I would hate it ...

Like many of us I want a complete confession from both sides and their courage to face Arshi as he knows they are not married and now she is fit and fine his responsibilty and guilt can take a back seat...
