Us: going crazy trying to make sense of all these confusing people!

The storytelling is to blame for sure. Leaving some things open-ended makes sense but not everything! The audience needs some clarity once in a while also!

It feels like we are trying to do PHD here, trying to decipher this show!

Ani got married against his will
Told his family it was against his will
Caught feeling for the girl he got married to but is yet to tell anyone in his family that he has caught feelings and doea not like arshi
In an attempt to make jhanak jealous, he faked his liking towards Arshi.
If he has caught feelings towards someone else it is his duty to make it clear to all parties involved.
Arshi is besharam as well and treating it like a competition but not once has Ani said he does not like Arshi openly.

I get he may not know what he truly feels for jhanak just yet but we cant expect Arshi to know before Ani even realises himself. Characters cannot see the internal monologues we see. Even when we see them we get confused half of the time. I also understand he cannot express himself and feels suffocated but how can we expect someone to realise he is emotionally out of the relationship when everything that comes out of his mouth is opposite. Same with jhanak to be honest and that's whats most fustrating about this show…. The stupid dialogues and delay in storytelling.

verdict:
Ani - confused - looking like a person leading two girls on
Jhanak - confused - looking annoying and stupid and emotionally unintelligent
Arshi - besharam - she thinks everything is a competition but she is not entirely wrong in her stance.
Writers - the main problem.
