Because in a duet you can't overlook the partner's mistake. If your partner fell weak the whole sync goes off & it affects the whole act too.

I am sorry if this offends people here but tonight's choreography was very tough. It was way tougher than Baby ko bass pasand hai. Very few people would be able to pull off something like this. Very high paced, intricate steps and also perfect number of wow moments. Yes where it lacked was Alisha not being able to match upto Shantanu 's energy level and that put the co-ordination level off at places.

And Shan was underscored,he did really well and even got standing ovation from other contestants.

And I know Shan is a professional dancer just like Salman but judges never try to pinpoint his slightest mistakes. And please Karan,Shan was finishing his steps,the song/dance was fast so you might not have noticed it man but he DID complete his steps

But if Salman can be given 27 for such basic choreography by his level and also so funnily no one even pointed out how he even lost balance in his solo portion, then I don't see why Shantanu got a 8 from KJO ? 😡

It was really a tough choreography.. Don't know y judges give him only 26..27 or 28 would be best

Nah, I am not saying Shantanu's dance was less, it was Alisha who is at fault. She fell weak in terms of energy infront of Shan. The choreography was tough & the pace was so fast that it was needed a hell lot of energy. Shantanu gave his 100%, he was totally on, finished all his step but Alisha's step looked incomplete. But in a duet both need to be in sync & lacking in that somehow affects the act. I don't have any complain on Shantanu. He always dances with sincerity & perfection.

But yes, IMO the piece of choreography was a bit limited.

KJo's comment on his finishing was absolutely mindless. He is one of the finest finisher IMO & I found KJo always underscores him & without a doubt I know it's a biased trick of Rangeela. 😡 A 27 would have been perfect.
