Hi guys, I am Suyash/Virus/BB (whatever you prefer😛) .
I love watching dance shows and have been watching Jhalak Since season 1.
Review in one line: Rangeela is back to its tricks just in first episode. Atleast be subtle, we all know what you are gonna do. 😡🥱
Detail :
I absolutely hated the performance distribution, kisi ko solo, kisi ko duet, kisi ko triplet. 🥱
First performance :
Karishma: I know she is a good dancer and it shows. Clearly she was the better one and after watching her in other show its good that she is alone here because she is a strong contender. 7/10
Siddhant: Surprise package for me. I never knew he will be that good. The body language, the expressions, the moves all said to me that he can be a very good dancer if he trains well. You can see from his clear and well organized moves that he will be good. 8/10 (+1 because he surprised me👏😆)
Arjun: 😳😆 Really sorry to his humungous fan base but he is a hopeless dancer. In the first few moves on the stage where Karishma and siddhant were doing some step and he looked like he was lost somewhere. 😆 I dont know how many episodes he will last without voting. I will be happy if he proves me wrong but honestly i dont feel like that. 5/10
Second Performance:
Surveen: Fantastic and brilliant. She is a fantastic dancer and the energy level is OMG. 👏 Would go far and might even win because she has arguably the best choreographer on the show. Sanam is absolutely fantastic and most innovative choreographer. 9/10
Harpreet : Classic punjabi bhangra is what you can say about him. Will post more after a solo act. Who looks elsewhere when you have surveen dancing. 😆😳 7/10
Third Performance:
The dancing twins: Fantastic idea to fuse 2 completely different styles. 👏⭐️ I loved their dance and hope they will last long.😃 9/10 (1 marks less because of what Ganesh said)
Fourth Performance:
Salman and Chutki. I could not watch it both in main episode and repeat too. Too lazy to download because i am not interested in both of them. 😛😆 Added because many people dont know about Aishwarya : She was a contestant on a dance show that just finished and she didn't even reach the final 5. And straight away she is drafted with a pro who has won the show and given some memorable performances. For me aishwarya is just a partner like avneet/vaishnavi was partner to darsheel/faisal. All choreography is done by salman as you can see from steps. 😆
Helly aka swara aka winner to be : Sorry no offence but i like to say how it is no matter what judges and audience say.🥱 This is the rangeela tricks everybody hates. Why did she alone get a solo to shine? Turned out to be actually bad for her.😆 Since she was solo her mistakes were more crystal clear than other and that's why longest analysis on her. She was a clumsy in lifts and landings and was haywire. Jay still hasn't learnt anything. He was like that with sanaya last year too. He is sometimes very limited and takes things easily. He could easily have fine tuned the lifts and landings but i guess no elimination pressure and he let it go. This year there are no votes so and only arjun/harpreet is there who is weaker than her so jay will have to buck up. She has the moves, the expressions, the cuteness and also the likability factor. The starting solo part was to die for. She can surely be my fav if she performs well because she is so cute.😳😆 There should be cuteness competition on who is more cute between her and shantanu.😆
6/10 (+1 for extra cuteness😳)
And i absolutely hated the judges comments part here. 🤢Season 6 ghosts resurface again. "Meri mummy aap ki fan hai", why the talk of fanbase when there is no voting???
Then We come to the last performance .
Shakti: Shakti is not a complete non dancer like arjun. 😆 He was good in his old show where he come with his GF. Although in comparison to the 2 dancing with he sure was amateur. I liked his dance and it was good but overshadowed by others. I want a solo of him before i judge him better. 7/10 currently.
Nora: STOP LYING.🥱 Nothing will happen if you say you are trained. She was good but i expected more from her. 6/10
My fav World of Dance champion Shantanu Maheshwari: You are in continuous awe like mode when he dances. He shines even if in a crowd and forces you to watch him whenever he dances, he is so so good. The starting part on the stairs and the sliding type movement was like makkhan. 👏 Its good alisha is his partner. Waiting to see some fantastic dances. 9/10(1 marks less because could i not enjoy is properly in a group)
But i was a bit disappointed on with the judges on marking him lower than a comparatively weaker dancers. And what was ganesh trying to say?? Can someone explain? I liked whatever ganesh said about other contestants but i just could not understand what he wanted to say regarding shan?
Will update perfectly when shantanu does a solo.
Judges:
KJO ok and as usual with his hot , sexy etc comments. 😆
Ganesh: Bang on perfect comments for everybody except shantanu, i just could not understand what he meant? 😕
Jacquline: The anti MD. 😆 Everybody was smitten by MD and kept on drooling and here she will do the reverse. Precap for next week is enough indication.😆 Who made her JUDGE??? 🥱
Manish: Honestly SHOW KI JAAN. Enough Said. 😎
Its still the first episode so dont want to be cynical but regular watchers know the tricks of rangeela. Hope some sanity and subtlety is restored and it does not become a disaster like season 5/6.
