I hope you raised your voice even at that time:)
And I hope you saw the unfair-ness of the game when popularity was winning hands down iver talent.
Anyway.. we can't do anything about it, can we? That's how it has been since the beginning.

i cross the age for fighting for actors but my vision in this kind of competition not just now but always it is unfair for not one but all of them.

True. I have seen Sanaya fans ego and because of this ego they have crossed all their limits. They always bash, degrade, Insult , curse and abuse other actors if they feel their favourite is being threatened. I think it's high time Sanaya herself comes out and asks her fans to stop all this nonsense.

She is not so active on social media, she has a life and is quite a normal girl! But her fanbots!

i don't have anything against him. he is good dancer. but i think then colours should not get contracted with any trained dancer if their show is about " A non dancer to Dancer " why they doing the opposite. and even the previous seasons too they want to follow the strategy .when laurin and DD were competing ..what happened ..DD won .
now i feel it better sanaya won't win because still people say not her work or her improvement got her trophy but her popularity . we watch every show if we have a attachment .people show it .its called their emotions ...ya when it cross limit not appreciable.r
but i truly believed that sanaya underscored .not because she is my favorite or anything but the way jai choreographed well and he did experiments when other most of the acts were freestyle and repeating

'Non dancer to dancer'? Where is it mentioned? Please enlighten me. Last I heard it was 'dancing with the stars'. Nowhere is it mentioned that the star should be a trained dancer or an untrained dancer.
And what 'strategy' are you talking about? DD won coz she recieved more votes than Lauren. Sanaya lost coz she recieved less votes than Faisal. Her popularity couldn't even win her a competition, so i guess its clear how 'popular' she is.
P.s. I know what are 'emotions'. But her fanbots should realise that even others have emotions, not just them and barbiedoll. They were bashing faisal and my post was for such people only.

DISCLAIMER - I am Sanaya fan & voted for her....
Thank god someone with sensible post.. I am not sure how many people on this forum are dancer or have danced in competition.. but this format is completely unfair to both dancers & non-dancers. To top it all having the 50% audience vote is even more foolish...

I don't think anyone can appreciate the amount of effort required by a novice to not only perform in front of audience but in a competition format with just couple of days to memorize the steps, add in the grace & expressions plus perform... in that sense congrats to Sanaya & Mohit.. they absolutely delivered...

To a dancer who is not only trained but has performed under pressure in competition like Faisal.. this format is unfair too because it being high schooler competing against elementary schooler.. there is minimum pressure, no need to push himself... I know his fans think that his performance was fantastic, this would only be in comparison to other novices...but for his caliber it truly was mundane... most of the time I felt he was just going through motion... he would have showcased his talent better in a more competitive format of professional dancers & unfortunately, his win will always be not at a peer level...

Then the voting segment, there were many a times that Sanaya would have been out except for the fans voting.. you could hear the exasperation in Ganesh Hedge's voice during the latter rounds & even in semi-final that whether you do good or bad, your fans vote will save you.. and finally in sarcasm when he said even the few who haven't voted for you, please vote for Sanaya... even more telling when he declared in semifinal to Faizal that you should be the winner... again this is the uneven contestant that the program is choosing...

Finally it puts the Choreographer in a bind.. while Faizal's choreo who was not even performing had the easier task to set it for two professional dancer, while Sanaya's choreo had to not only keep the dancer's limitations, but also perform with her.. so he was using her strong point of using more expression & telling of story rather than the aerobic exercises format of Faizal who was showcasing his dance moves rather than emoting a story...

Bottom line: If Sanaya had won, it would always have been because of voters... but on the other hand Faizal victory is a not a hard fought one, but with some slight of hand... once the semifinal came on and the judges comments, it was not hard to see where the outcome was headed...

Well I don't want to go into who's popular than who, although I'll share my two cents:
I have friends and family in India who are not a fan of anyone in particular, but they do watch every dance show and do alot of SMS voting too.
They don't bother with the non-dancer - dancer aspect of JDJ. They watch it as a normal dance show, with every contestant trying to make a mark there. They constantly voted for Faisal, because they enjoyed his dances. They didn't see him as a trained dancer or as a winner of DID, they saw him as a contestant on JDJ like everyone else. They voted for him purely based on his dancing prowess.
And I'm sure many many many people did that.
I know Sanaya has alot of fans, and she improved too, but in the end, if you go by neutral audience's perspective, Faisal was definitely the strongest contender for the win.

This tagline of Non dancer to dancer was made after Faisal won. Before that it was Dancing with the stars. If their favourite had the tagline would have been the same. This is to justify their favourite's loss.

How about his Lavani, Classical on Muqabla, Main Hoon Hero, Group dance were these too arrobic exercises? Sweetheart, I guess both you and your egotistic fans need a chill pill. As it is you all must be tired voting and fighting for your rights over Sanaya's popularity.
