can you tell me where you heard this ???? because this is a myth created god knows in which seasontheir is no where written that trained dancer shouldnot win JDJ 😊and the concept is same "JDJ - dancing with the stars"
No reality show has ever made me feel so rhapsodic as I do right now. I know, Faisal fans were themselves not expecting this result despite voting for him like crazy especially in the last leg of the competition, but let me be honest and I mean every bit of it when I say that in the deepest corners of my heart, I JUST KNEW Faisal would win. Last night, even I was curious about the results and kept meandering through a few social websites before hitting the sheets, but to no avail. The last thought that I remember echoing in my head before I drifted to sleep was, "Just win this one, Faisal...I know you can, and I know you WILL..." And BANG! HE DOES!
I still recall that vote appeal of his where he said that he knew that no child celeb has ever won the title, but he WANTS to be victorious and win that trophy, "Vo trophy...jeetni hai mujhe..." That YEARNING, that burning fortitude & diligence in his eyes to break all stereotypes of a trained/child celeb not winning was so evident. And yes, that was the time I started voting for him.
I had just returned at 10 after attending my class and the first thing I did on my phone was to check out the results cuz my heart said over and over again that he would win. And when, I actually saw the congratulatory posts for him on IF, for a split second my eyes actually got all bleary and it took a little while to rescue myself from those gigantic waves of euphoria and excitement. I'm not one of those people who go crazy for a celeb, but this child is so wondrous that I feel so much connected to him. He is almost of the similar age (just a year younger than me) and there's so much you can learn from him and at so many levels! The passion, the veritable desire to prove himself is so awe-inspiring.
As for those Sanaya fans branding his victory as 'empty', attributing it to the fact that his sob-story got him sympathy votes so that he can 'support his family financially', those who're tagging him as undeserving, does nothing except leaving me appalled. I even got to read a post where the apparently obsessed fan went to the lengths of saying that, "How is that possible, making a dancer win is against the rules of the show."
But yeah, thats the power of winning hearts. Faisal has PROVED himself. Those doubting his celeb status, just go and watch Maharana Pratap - this bundle of talent is capable of giving the finest actors a run for their money with his stellar acting and action sequences. I'm on seventh heaven right now and will continue to do so for quite a long time!
P.S. What an amazing post , Hiru.
I am really happy for him..
But i find it annoying wen ppl say that he isnt popular.. Ppl have loved him from DID days... then his Pratap... so he is popular and he has a string fan base too .. coupled with his abities and judjes vote.. he was always the strong runner (provided things were fair).. and thankfully it was fair..
