Totally agree with you here. Faisa being in JDJ is itself unfair --though i love to watch him perform :)

I always said the same my personal fav is shamita but i would love if faisal wins ... as both are fab dancers for me ...

and i seriously want this non-dancer to dancer thing stops with this seasons and gives equal opportunity to dancers who comes to JDJ

Agree with you, Rini 👏👏👏. If there was a rule that only non dancers win JDJ then I've got a question. Aren't rules meant to be broken? There are many things that have been changed from the olden days. So, why can't JDJ rules change? There's no hard and fast rule that only non dancers win JDJ. This time round it had to be a full fledged dancer winning the trophy.

@BOLD: May I please know that where in the rule book of Jhalak its written that dancers SHOULD not win? 😕 Why do they bring in the dancers on the show in the very first place, if they don't even stand a chance of winning? Just to raise the "STANDARD" of Jhalak? Yeah? Not making a dancer win is just the pattern that every season of Jhalak follows. Some season or other WILL definitely be the first one to break this pattern and make a contestant win on MERIT (I'm sure nobody doubts that Faisal tops that list.) And to bring that about, what better season can it be than Jhalak RELOADED, like Ganesh implied the other day.

@ITALICS: What the hell does that mean, now? 😕 Does that mean that since the other contestants have not been able to achieve as much as he has, this show is meant for them? And not for Faisal? Really? I genuinely failed to understand, please be kind enough to explain.

@UNDERLINED: What has he achieved here? Well...*sigh*
I might sound like a broken record saying this but I will proceed to say it anyway, that trophy or not, Faisal has won everyone's hearts and that feat is unparalleled.

I came here to make the exact same point...thank you so much for saying it.

Every single contestant has worked hard in this competition...not just Sanaya.

If she, as the judges said, puts forth a sweet simple act with nice simple steps...Faisal delivers a blindfolded aerial act. He works that much harder to prove himself because he can dance.

I love Sanaya's bubbly avatars in the shows she does, but Jhalak is after all a dance show. It only makes sense that eventually someone who can dance wins. Year after year however it comes down to a popularity contest.

For the past few seasons, that has been easy to swallow, because the non-dancers the likes of Gurmeet, Drashti, Ashish really made vasts improvements during their journey. In Sanaya's own words "Agar main bottom 2 main ayii toh main gayi."

She was lucky to be saved by votes every time because her hard work wasn't paying off as much. As a result, this year there is a striking disparity between the non-dancer and dancer. Luckily this time the dancer has the ability to pull in votes too, so he actually has a fighting chance.

There is nothing in the rule book that says a dancer should not win.
All participants have a chance. It can be argued that Sanaya had an unfair advantage because of her popularity...but lets not get into that.
The judges have themselves openly stated who deserves to win...Faisal.
He has already won the hearts and blessing of millions of viewers.
He has proved with his amazing acts that he is the best.

Trophy or not he is already a winner.

Looking back, even his very first performance on JDJ was fabulous! Whereas Sanaya's first performance was almost "bad", but look at her now! She has improved SOOO much! but Faisal's growth from epi1 to now isn't that great tbh xD His concepts are always epic, no doubt, but the credit for that goes to his choreo Vivek...not Faisal himself.

Sanaya has done so many different dance forms too, I actually don't think she's done the same form twice...
Despite the choreography not being top notch every week, Sanaya has shown growth continuelly, ever since JDJ started. Even Shahid himself said that after watching her first performance he never would have thought that she would make it to the finals (because it was that bad) - BUT the growth she has shown makes her spot in the finals very well deserving!!

So YES, Sanaya does deserve to win JDJ. & Hopefully she will! 👏

Now the fact he was the best from the start is being held against him. whats wrong with him being good from the start. Faisal has also done many different dance styles. krumping, classical, lavni, hiphop, contemporary, aerial, lyrical.

Also this is a competition for the choreographers too. they share the prize money with the contestant. u ur self said jai is not good and vivek is great. so I think he should win too

anyways may the best win.

Sanaya and Mohit reached finals only b/c of votes . Had they not been popular, they would have been eliminated long time ago because of their inconsistent dancing. they are not able to maintain the standards every week and both deserved to be in the bottom2 because of their mediocre performance and low scores but fans and popularity saved them.
Sanaya has grown as a dancer but she is not deserving to win. Honestly, her Khuda jane and Bath Tub was the only 2 performance which was good otherall was Average for me. may be its b/c of bad choreography and same is the case with mohit. Sanaya and mohit has improved but compared to the growth of non dancers of other seasons, its not that great

Vivek has been an amazing choreographer this season...👏...but don't discount Faisal's contribution.
Design is only one part of the game...in the end its the ability to execute the concept that really matters and Faisal has always delivered. 👍🏼

Is it Faisal's fault that he's so talented? Then I too can blame Sanaya for being so popular. This is her fault, right? Week after week Faisal has given outstanding performances. And, this has to work both ways. If Vivek was not good enough Faisal wouldn't have reached this far and if Vivek was good but Faisal wasn't then too he wouldn't have come this far. Faisal has even come out of his comfort zone and performed and come out triumph. I'm sure everyone remembers his classical dance on Muqabla.

Wow ...this whole post has become abt how mediocre is Sanaya as a dancer 😆 and she is in JDJ cause of popularity which is so unfair !
Firstly popularity and having die hard fans is not charity ...it is hard earned based on ones work , conduct off screen etc .

We all have opinions and mine is that she deserves to win . She has shown tremendous growth and done several wow acts . She is the only contestant who has not reached the finale by not being propped up and totally deserves it .

Regarding " popularity " only taking her to the finals ...that's ridiculous , she has had the scores , the POTW and the immunity ball ...and when 50% of weightage of this show is votes ...why is that aspect discarded so easily ...it's extremely important in the format of this show .

None of the finalists have had it easy ...each has had their own journey , struggles , their fan base etc ...to dismiss ppl saying they are only there cause they are popular is totally uncalled for and not fair .

Good lord ppl talk about struggle of a particular participant as if others are not putting there struggles .
All are putting there soul to win it .
If performance were mediocre what can judges do or audience her performance was never consistent like Faisal so ppl say he deserves more even though he is trained he is putting equal amount of his hard work and so does mohit .
Mohit was no were but see him now each performance he has grown .
If ppl give there honest views why few are getting annoyed .
There is no rule everyone should bow just because she is popular .

Err when did I say that it's Faisal's fault that he's a great dancer?! o.O All I'm saying is that when we compare his first performance to his last you can't really see that big of an improvement. On the contrary the growth Sanaya has shown is impeccable! She went from being an average dancer to now being darn good in almost all dance styles (which is crazy considering the show has only been on air for 2-3 months).
According to me, Sanaya is most well-deserving of the Jhalak trophy! but if not her, I'd definitely want Faisal to win.
