every1 has their own hits and misses-same is in the case of shamita.tat was partiality.i admit.

n also ta liftsof sanayas act was graceful.but their is no need to give it so much of hype.

shamita s helen act was much beter than sanayas aaj phir tumse. how effortlesslt has shamita done it with perfection.her expression,her style and grace are awesome.

am not a fan of shamita.i nva liked her acting also.but dance eise she is beter than sanaya.

the marathon was a proof.without any loss of energy she has done it extremely well.but sanaya started of an failed miserably.

we are not comparing shamita and sanaya dance, of-course shamita is a better dancer den sanaya. shamita is a trained dancer, she has done many item songs. but its not just a dance show...boogi woogi was d show dat was totally a dance show where no viewers votes are taken into consideration

wen we talk abt partiality while judging d dance we say dat scarlett was better den shamita in d face off, n in many weeks faisal was better den shamita when faisal didnt get full marks n shamita did

The concept is judges have to be fare while giving scores n viewers can vote whoever dey want and the combine score will decide the winner

While giving comments a judge is saying u were awesome i couldnt point a single flaw in ur act but give u less marks, whereas one is doing mistake u r pointing dat still giving full marks dat for me is partiality

so sanaya got less marks..she didnt get 10 right?she wasnt great in marathon so she got less marks

she always got deserving marks

popular contestant acts get hype

like popular heroes movies get hype

many praised shamita for helen act she got articles too..for that blind act and helen act

articles no where effect scores

everyone's misses were pointed out n gave less scores but for shamita pointed out n gave 10marks once and ignored other time

@bold they didnt have to save Sanaya wit immunity ball. She was saved by the massive votes she got from her fanbase. Even after giving her the immunity ball shameless channel kept her voting line open coz they didnt want to lose out on the moolah they generate from her votes and to save someone else's sorry ass who screwed up their act but was lucky to have a performance with her that week.

No one expects any favors for her but neither do we want blatant partiality towards other contestants.

Except for Faizal did the performances of the others deserve the immunity ball they received?

very well said dear, really loved your post..
i'll just say that whoever saying that Sanaya will win just because of her popularity, they are blind to see her efforts & her day by day improvement, & kind of jealouse (not to disrespect any other contestant) that their fav ones are not filling the bill to win Jhalak..

if you cant appreciate her hard work & like her but dont disrepect her atleast. she was a week participant in the begining but now she is one of the strong dancer on Jhalak..

Marathon .. Did they even let her dance? Even when the guy was taking them out both jai and sanaya were dancing energetically while they didn't even know some one has come to take them out.

To be honest i didnt even get the concept of marathon.you should at least give three minutes must to all the dancers and then see if their energy starts dropping after three minutes. IMO.

I love Faisal as a dancer, he is great ... I have followed him for the first time in this show, and he is a wonderful kid, with a great dancing talent, and the drive to succeed.

But there are two aspects to Jhalak ...

One - it is the journey of a non dancer celeb to becoming a dancer. Ganesh Hegde's first interview made it clear that he is not looking for wonderful dancers here, he is looking for celebs who add dancing to their other capabilities.

Second - the format of the show is 50% judges marks, and 50% votes ... so a popular celeb, be they actor, singer, sportsperson.. they have the advantage of popularity, vs the disadvantage of being non-dancers ... that is what levels out the playing field.

These two are what make Jhalak different from other dance shows. You want good dance ... watch DID or Dance+ (which by the way I couldn't sit through even one episode of 😆). The dance level is MUCH better there ... and it should be ... those people are trying to make a living through dance.

You want to watch popular celebs try their hand at something new, backed by the safety net of the popularity they have won through their work IN OTHER FIELDS ... watch JDJ. Or NB ...which has a similar format.

Faisal is a dancer. But he is also popular. So he doesn't quite qualify for both the aspects. Which sucks for him ... and the kid is giving his best despite knowing he probably won't win ... hats off to him. But he is getting huge exposure through the show ... always a plus. And he has won new fans ... I am one of them.

Sanaya and Mohit qualify on both counts ... popularity and being non-dancers. So does Anita H, among the wild cards.

So when we talk about deserving candidates, we need to keep the format of this particular show in mind ... not just who is the best dancer. It's all these things, not just one - who started as a non-dancer, has shown the most improvement, and is now, at the end of the show, the best dancer ... AND who is the most popular ... that goes without saying ... since audience votes make up 50% of the result. So people who are cribbing that the most deserving dancer does not win, check if he/she fulfills ALL the criteria before calling them deserving or non deserving.
