Mine for what they are worth ...

Sanaya hasn't had one great dance only . She has had 4 excellent performances - Khuda Jaane , Charlie Chaplin , mujra , Banno and the Dhoom remix was very good too .

It's extremely unfair to say she is there because of her popularity ...she hasn't taken a safe route nor has been comfortable in her popularity so to speak and has given superb performances .

Their is no injury drama ( she was hospitalised for 3-4 days ) , no promos on injuries plus emotional atyachar .

Faisal is brilliant , the best dancer in the show ...he has given some superb out of the box performances . He is very popular too .

Mohit is very good and has improved a lot ( the most improved non dancer is Sanaya hands down ) . He is also very popular ...so best of luck to him .

Coming to Shamita ...I think her performances have progressively declined as the show has progressed . Her 2 nd and 3 rd performance were her best . Some of her scoring viz a viz her performances is a joke .

She is getting negative feedback not just from the audience but even some ex contestants on theit Twitter handle ...

Her bird act was decent but for me nothing fantastic ...at the level where the show is , it was alright ...so was Scarlett's too , nothing great abt it .

A very nice and appropriate post. Faisal is the most deserving contestant and I hope he wins. HE SHOULD. I don't see how being more popular can make you 'deserving' enough to win the show. 😕

I don't know if you have even followed her progress from week 1 to today. If you have had, maybe you would not have said that she has only one great dance to her credit. She has improved leaps and bounds with every single performance, except for week 8. I don't know which great dance you are referring to...Allah Duhai? Banno? Baby Doll? Charlie Chaplin? Khuda Jaane? Or maybe tonight's Aaj Phir? Too many great dances, so sorry...got confused which one you are talking about.

By saying that Sanaya will win mostly due to her "POPULARITY", you are demeaning her hard work and abilities. She has a huge fanbase who are extremely loyal to her but we should not forget that judges' scores also matter as much as votes. Sanaya is the only one right now who fits the bill of a potential JDJ winner...a non dancer who is rapidly transforming to a good dancer + a popular contestant.

I could say in the same breath that Sanaya is favored by Shahid. Would that be true? probably not.

Shamita is not more popular than Vivian, but she is a much much much better dancer than him.

And who says Shamita's favoritism saved her from being in bottom two every week? did the audience votes not do anything?

Again I think Sanaya has a weak choreographer. Her dances have been fine or improving, but they haven't been great. Again I would only count the banno dance as her great one. The rest have been good or fine.

But jhalak has been a popularity contest...the better dancers or the most hardworking have never won.

And that's a fact that most likely won't change even this season.

This argument has opened the confusion account of my brain LOL. Honestly i never did expected sanaya to dance thid well in Jhalak. Her mujra was stunning anf yes i was stunned . Her butterfly act was very daring ..the steps were simples ..but steps that were performed were done to extreme best. I saw no fault in her steps. So what if they were simple but they were very well done. That is what we call dance right? I Loved her Dhoom , Mujra and butterfly act ...but i did not like banno. Steps were repeated . And coming to Mohit . He is a hardworker and his work is clean but he has not shown some versality ... he has his good share of performance as well. But but but on one part i agree Sanaya is better then Mohit but on other part my mind reminds me of the Chahun mai ya na dance. The steps in that onr were to be performed together so we could hardly compare both but the hand movements the leg movements ...i noticed them and yes i compared them .Mohit did better. I found Sanaya struggling and she was stiff at some points. So i am confused who is better lol :$😆
