Sanaya Irani, the epitome of beauty and talent; and rightly called the Queen of Indian Television'. Sanaya had already established herself as a talented actress before embarking on the Jhalak journey, putting her dancing skills to the test. Dancing has always been one of Sanaya's passions and we have seen her showcase her dancing skills on both TV shows and on stage at various events. This year Sanaya took the opportunity to showcase her dancing skills on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. At the start of the Jhalak journey, Sanaya a non-professional dancer had requested that fans lower their expectations. Now two months later, Sanaya is in par with any professional dancer and with her latest performance she has raised the bar in this competition.
Since Jhalak started, Sanaya has grown as a dancer. She has come out of her comfort zone and always challenges herself with new and difficult dance styles. The first performance was an impressive start to the journey. Sanaya had even suffered from a serious injury during the early days but she did not let this get her down. Each week Sanaya worked harder and harder; and each week she would mesmerise us all with her beautiful performances.
Then in the fifth week Sanaya scored her first perfect 40 for her performance on the song Banno Tera Swagger'. A lively performance with the perfect combination of dancing and acting, earning her high praises from judges and fans alike. Later on came the amazing Charlie Chaplin act, one of her best performances, earning her full marks. Sanaya was adorable in the act; it was a perfect blend of both dancing and comedy. The comic timing, the expressions, the dance moves, everything was beyond perfect. Sanaya earned a well-deserved 30 (full marks) and her dance was also declared the MobiKwik Reloaded Performance of the week.
Now fast forwarding to the latest performance, Sanaya's remarkable butterfly act earned her not only full marks but also the golden immunity ball too. A flawless performance, it truly was outstanding. During the dance we were left on the edge of our seats whilst watching the aerial act minus the safety harness. It was a challenging dance form but Sanaya has the talent and ability to overcome all obstacles and she gave her absolute best, if not more!! Despite the foot injury she continued to dance with grace and never once let the pain show on her face. At the end of the act, Sanaya got a well-deserved standing ovation from the judges and the crowd.
During each performance, Sanaya has always looked gorgeous in each of the avatars. Whether a beautiful fairy tale princess, a hot and sexy girl, a gorgeous desi girl, a cute Charlie or a beautiful flower princess, she looked incredible in all. The outfits, the make-up and the hair have always been impeccable. Credit goes to all the people who ensure Sanaya looks her very best for each of her performances.
Sanaya's choreographer Jai Kumar Nair has experimented with different dance styles to ensure Sanaya not only learns new and different steps and also new techniques but also improves as a dancer. Jai has also developed as a choreographer during the Jhalak journey. In the latest performance, Jai did an exceptionally good job surpassing all expectations.
To say Sanaya is a fabulous dancer is an understatement, she continuously gives great performances. Sanaya's passion for dancing is what makes her great. She is a versatile dancer, who is always willing to try out all types of dance styles no matter how difficult or challenging it may be. She works extremely hard and practices around the clock, putting in her 100% to ensure the performances are perfect. Sanaya dances with confidence and feeling. She is very expressive, emoting easily when performing. Sanaya fearlessly battles against her fellow dancers whilst captivating the audience with her passion, skill and talent. She is also the most entertaining contestant on Jhalak, always a live wire full of energy, bubbliness and joy.
Sanaya will always be our queen. Her hard work and dedication will always bear fruit. Each week she makes us proud and we eagerly look forward to all her upcoming performances on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. We are excited to see what special surprises Sanaya has in store for us and we have full confidence in the fact that she will be the winner of this season's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
