“Why aren’t Bollywood actresses supporting Deepika? - Upala KBR
I was sooo looking forward to this classical from him...and just my luck that I couldn't watch it live but catch up I did even if it was 2am when I watched it...and guys did he nail this one ever so beautifully...i couldn't help but put these lines by Robert Frost (yeah he is my favourite poet guess whoever follows this AT would know it by now!!!!) here...
I shall be telling this with a sigh, Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in the wood, and I"
I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference
We all know that classical has always been one of his tight spot having had no formal training what he achieved yesterday was absolutely stunning, this proves why he is special...it takes years of training and rigorous practise to get your stance, mudra and postures correct and add few more to add few more to get facial expressions and hand-eye coordination perfectly in sync with your body rhythm but here he was matching step by step and expression by expression with the girl who's had years of training in classical dancing...I was absolutely amazed at those eyebrow movements...it was so meticulous and precise...completely in awe ...whatever I say is not going to be enough for what he achieved in those 3 minutes...yes I adored him as a great dancer, was a great admirer of his acting skills, and is always humbled by his innocent charms and down to earth attitude but yesterday's I have found something more and that is respect...respect for his ability to go out of his comfort zone and try something new every time w/o any reservations, respect for his mental strength-he goes by his convictions rather than other peoples' perceptions, respect for his ability to challenge himself(I do remember his words about how he considers himself to be his biggest competitor) - I now realised Faisal what you meant...each performance has been better than the previous one...something unique, something refreshing, something challenging - yes it doesn't work always but you get full marks from me in being innovative and creative...
and last but not least...about Ganesh's comment...I agree you both danced like one soul today...something that was directly from heart...May you take this trophy home if you want it so much...I will just be happy and cherish this performance for a long time to come...
