Hi everyone!

I'm super bored (read: would rather not think of the million things i have to do), so I have decided to post my musings of this show on the forum.

Personally, just something i noticed over the weeks is the intensity of Shahid-Sanaya hugs. Let me be clear, I have been a Sanaya fan since forever, watched all her shows, endured even the worst parts of those dramas for her, and i think i have a pretty good idea of her real life personality as well (from youtube videos of course). And I she is someone who just is super bubbly and touchy-feely and super friendly, so her hugging all the judges even the celebs who visit (Rishi Kap. and juniour B.) is fine (understandable in relation to her personality).

But what i find odd, and i mean real odd, is the way Shahid Kapoor reacts to her hugs and her. I don't know, i have this weird sixth sense, when subliminal meanings are lurking around in action and what not. And i feel Shahid is a little too happy hugging her, and his embrace is a tad bit too intimate for people who have just recently become acquainted w. each other, and that through a reality tv show. I don't see him showing this emotion to any other female contestant. In fact despite the fact Radhika Madan is quite the big fan of his, knowing a lot of things about him, he's never willing given her over-enthusiastic hugs.

I just find it kind of odd. Even today, while they played cricket with Irfan, Shahid was a bit close, hugging her when she hit those sixes and choosing to act as the wicket keeper when he could have done some other position (which may have given him more footage 😉) ...

I DON"T KNOW. I think i'm probably paranoid, or perhaps shipping those two and then hallucinating about all of this. But meh, i wanted to rant and i did.

By no means do i think Shahid is a creepo for doing this, but maybe it's unintentional and she just brings that out in him? 😆

So anyone notice? 😉

Yaar bechara just for married if people start speculating like this then his marriage to Gaya 😆

Though I find the compliment each other I mean cmon they look so good with each other that I can't help but ship them and mind you I haven't though I would be able to ship sanaya with anyone else except from barun 😆

really creepy to notice all of this. definitely not cool to ship anyone in a competition. cos its gonna be pointed out for scoring. cos i personally feel he is biased towards her. like all other judges have their own favorites. (kjo for shamita, gh for subreet, lauren for scarlett) 😉

but i noticed the point about radhika. he never hugs her willingly.

probably cos she is way too young. 20?

Yup sadly both are in relationships.

Maybe in another life, they might come to be.

Ohhh... #Shanaya is a cute hastag, though like you mentioned i'll probably get jhuttes from their fans for thinking of them as such.

His wife is 20ish too! Should he not hug her as well? 😆😆😆

Sigh. Shipping is a dead end on such a show. But entertainment is entertainment.

haha radhika dont seem like the touchy feely types. and mira is his wife, ofc he can do whatever he wants! 😆

Umm, do you not notice that he keeps his hand on the back of her head when he hugs her?! It's just endearment, that's all! He treats her like a kid actually!! How this fondness happened, I don't know?!

It's at most endearing. Their hugs do not violate any code of conduct when it comes to crossing the line between a judge and a contestant. Neither do they seem too close for comfort to me. Sanaya is quite 'huggy', if you know what I mean. This is exactly how she hugs all her costars in their off-screen segments as well.

And I don't know what she is like with her costars but in JDJ, I actually feel Radhika doesn't seem comfortable with the idea of hugging so freely which is perfectly fine. I know quite a few people who aren't very comfortable with too much physical contact in general, let alone with the opposite gender. Maybe she would open up as well a few years into her career.

So Shahid's contradictory body language while hugging these two has a lot to do with their own vibe. Sanaya is more open while Radhika is more reserved and he is insightful enough to accordingly reciprocate.
