Jhalak 8:When Drashti Dhami Picked Best Friend Sanaya Over Vivian!!!!!

Sanaya Irani has shown incredible growth on "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8". From being a not-so-confident dancer to pulling off varied dance routines with style and grace, the contestant has fans rooting for her from all over the world. Best friend Drashti Dhami too is doing the same.

Talking to The Times of India, the "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani" actress opened up on how she's going to get everyone to vote for her bestie. "Vivian (Drashti's co-star from Madhubala) and Sanaya (Irani, Drashti's best friend), both have a huge fan following. My loyalties are with Sanaya. The competition is really tough because there are many strong dancers, who are professional and trained," she said adding how she speaks to Sanaya every single day as she tends to freak out often.

Sanaya wasn't too confident about dancing and said how she wished to learn from the show. And, that's exactly what has been happening. The leading lady's progress graph has shown consistent growth, which is impressive coming from a non-dancer.

Drashti also opened up about hosting "Jhalak" last season. The actress said she wasn't enjoying the process and so had to opt out. This is in stark contrast to reports (published last year), which said she was asked to leave as she didn't do a good job.

"I was even a bit upset with the fact that I couldn't pull it off, but it didn't take me long to get over it. It gets difficult to perform when you yourself don't like it," Drashti told the daily.
