It requires a diff kind of adhaa, body language, expressions, right?Hope Sanaya is able to do justice, she only gets a few days to learn
Yes Kathak is a distinct dance form...actually every dance form is unique in its own way. In Kathak, I noticed that there is not much use of the space/stage...as in it's dancing while standing mostly. In Bharatanatyam, there are more movements and bending to do. Also in Bharatanatyam, expressions and eye movements are very important. There is a difference between Mujra and Kathak as well. I think people are confusing the Kathak salami with Mujra. These two are very different 😊
