The biggest dance reality show on Colors, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (BBC Worldwide), is back with a bang. And this time the makers not only have few dhamakedaar contestants, but also the judges' panel has undergone some changes.

Though we missed Madhuri Dixit and Remo D'souza, the opening act of Jhalak showed promise to be a grand season. Here are the five things we liked about Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded opening episode.

Contestants:

Like all seasons, the makers have yet again roped in some of the best talents from the industry. This season has some of the best mix from different backgrounds: handsome television hunk Ashish Chowdhry Vivian Dsena and Mohit Malik, pretty ladies like Sanaya Irani, Dipika Kakar, Radhika Madan and Kavita Kaushik. Apart from them, we have rapper Raftaar and dancers like Faisal Khan and Subhreet, and of course, Bollywood beauty Shamita Shetty to up the glam quotient.

Shahid Kapoor:

The newly married man proved why he is the heartthrob of millions of fans. His first outing in the telly world has won a thumbs up from our side. Shahid was at his jubilant best as the judge of Jhalak, especially during his witty chats with Karan Johar.

Spotlight:

The newly introduced spotlight segment is another thing to watch out for. Yesterday's spotlight contestant from Ahmedabad showed his dancing skills on the Jhalak platform. And just from the glimpse of it, we are sure that the aam janta of our country is all geared up to give a tough fight to the celebs.

Performance:

This time all the contestants are terrific dancers. But what bowled us completely was the choreographers' skills to make their partner's performance even graceful. Many are trained, while many are not, yet they managed to leave a mark on us. Good job, everyone.

Set:

Finally, time to praise the team, who works behind the camera. Every season Jhalak has showed the talent of it creative team, who make the set look like a visual treat. And of course, they did not fail to woo us this time either. Perfect lighting was another element, which made it look better.

Overall, Jhalak's start did impress us and we are expecting a lot from this season. All the best, everyone!
