I haven't watched anyone else yet ... so can't compare ... my only comparison is to Sanaya's promo ... have to say Colors chose the worst parts of her dance and added mismatched music to boot, to make me really nervous about her performance, so I expected the worst. She did much better than I expected ... I think KJo, GH and Lauren all made valid points ... KJo was very kind and encouraging, and he pointed out the weakest link in her performance, the transitions ... GH also was correct when he said choice of song was not right ... both he and KJo also pointed out the good parts, the tutting and the robotic bit, where she was good.
Lauren's point about Sanaya holding herself straighter was valid in itself, I'm giving LG the benefit of doubt that she didn't know Sanaya was in pain, otherwise for a trained dancer who must have been through similar injuries, that was a tad insensitive. I've seen Sanaya in countless stage and show performances where she has been more fluid and graceful, so I would ascribe some of the jerkiness to her injury ... she was very obviously in pain during the judges comments, and was holding her waist continuously.
Not seen the other dancers so I can't judge the marks ... seems fair to me on a standalone basis. Sanaya has to wrk harder for sure .. and knowing her,she will. I'm glad KJo and GH made specific comments, that should give both Sanaya and Jai something to work with.

@Bold-Hi Diya! I agree with this part, especially. In my post Wimbledon daze, I did forget about that part! Lauren wasn't completely off the mark with her criticism. Sanaya slouched slightly in parts & to add to that, it happened especially when sensual movements were to be made & turned them a tad bit awkward. The reason for complaint w.r.t Lauren is that many, including myself, found her to be inconsistent & not quite in sync with the other judges(though, that isn't necessary) in her scoring. And, since you have only watched SI's part, you can decide for yourself once you watch the other acts. Anyway, frankly, instead of giving vague opinions, they actually made real constructive criticism. That should be helpful.

yeah.. Her performance was not good today...
But i know, she was in pain.. Her uneasyness was visible when judges were giving their comments..
As a true fan, i have faith in my doll..
Soon she will make a damakedar comeback..

My apologies ...if the note has happened because of my reporting . I have just come to the thread for a small break .

Saw Sanaya 's performance ...so so proud of her . Their was so much dance involved in her act 👏loved the initial belly dancing and the robotic act ...lots of scope for improvement but still a decent first act .

I am just shocked at the promo created by colours for her act ! Couldn't they have zeroed on her solo movements and the robotic act . 😕

Anyways ...back to voting , happy voting everyone .

I think amongst the non dancers, she was the best.
Her moves were good, but I felt the lack of connection between them. This is just the start and I hope Jai works hard to get the best out of her.

Sanaya is really graceful and I know she'll get better with time. Fingers crossed for the next act.

I'm not mentioning the judges and stuffs.. I'd never get how things works in a reality show.
