'Furious' Kavita Kaushik walks off from Jhalak finale; read to know why...

Kavita Kaushik, the lady with good looks, charm, humour and talent was left upset during the shoot of Jhalakfinale.

The actress was present for the finale shoot, that happened yesterday. As per a promotional integration, theComedy Nights Bachao team joined in to add laughter tadka.

According to our sources, the Bachao team was indulging in their usual roast' style insults and happened to pass some comments on the FIR fame actress too.

Kavita, who is known for her sporting nature took the mike to give them back. But, when she was about to speak, the mike was switched off from the crew. This made Kavita felt humiliated, and she walked off from the stage fuming in anger.

To get more clarity, we buzzed Kavita, who opened up about the entire incident and shared via text, "Yes it's true, I am totally against shows like the roast where national personalities are insulted with cheap comments, people do it but I don't have any such majboori nor am I comfortable projecting myself in a shallow manner to create content or money. I had signed Jhalak and not "Bachaao", without my permission or a brief some random people threw a volley of insults at me and when I tried to retaliate they cut power off my Mike. The country law also doesn't allow curbing someone's freedom of speech especially while protecting one's dignity. I did not go to a vulgar space and it's demeaning that my space is encroached upon in a dance based show that I was only clapping and attending to support the finalists and cheer for the winner. Once they cut my Mike off I was sitting helplessly while the so called comedians had a field day cracking insensitive and undignified lines on me and I had to eventually get up and leave as I felt humiliated and could not take it anymore. It's very very sad that this was done to someone like me who has never crossed a line or insulted anyone in my 9 years of doing comedy even as playing a cop I have not insulted a woman's dignity on my show ever. I will henceforth protect myself and never do a reality show ever this was a lesson learnt. How can someone do something to you on national TV without your consent? It's not only unprofessional it's undignified and inhuman. Every actor does not come with a price tag on his integrity and soul.(sic)"

Regarding that article on Kavita that's really sad

Some of the comedy we see on Indian TV is actually not humor, it's insults aimed at someone who cannot respond back

In this case channel silenced her by turning off her mike

Just another case of bull dozing by channel

Mumbai: The moment that we all have been waiting for since quite a long time is here. The name of the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded' winner has been revealed.

A picture from the finale episode of the show found its way on the Internet in which we see Faisal holding the winning cheque along with his choreographer, who is seen holding the trophy.

Beating Sanaya Irani and Shamita Shetty, Faisal Khan has won the well-known dance reality show. The dancing star had earlier won Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2'. Faisal went on to play the lead role of young Pratap in TV show 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap'.

The grand finale episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Ja Reloaded', which is the eight season of the dance reality show, was recently shot. In the finale episode, we'll see Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor easing the tension among the contestants with their humour and silly banters as they promote Shaandaar' on the sets of Jhalak'.

In the last episode we'll also see Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty with her parents, sitting among the audiences, cheering for her little sister Shamita.

'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded' without a doubt has become one of the most loved and watched television shows. The credit for hooking up the audiences to their tv sets goes to the show's judges (Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ganesh Hegde, Lauren Gottlieb and Malaika Arora Khan), host and of course, the very talented contestants.

While there is a round of news about Kavita Kaushik walking out from the finale of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8 after getting upset with one of the comedians from Comedy Nights Bachao team who roasted and humiliated her, and right when she was about to give it back, the crew switched off her mike. We bring in the other side of the story exclusively for you.

Firstly, let's hear it from Kavita's perspective as to what lead to her abrupt exit. The upset actress says "I did not sign for Comedy Nights Bachao. I have signed Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, I did not go on to the Bachao sets to endorse such cheap and vulgar comedy. I do not approve of this so nobody has the right to attack me. The makers of Comedy Nights Bachao have offered me the show many times and I have always turned it down. I did not take lakhs of money to be insulted then why should I do it on a dance based show where I am purely for the love of dance."

Further sharing the incident, she adds "I was sitting there, enjoying Jhalak and was in a great mood. I had gone there with a sportsmen spirit and suddenly there comes Comedy Nights Bachao team. I had warned all of them not to do this roast on me else I would retaliate and give it back on mike. Some of them were very nice and they listened to me and did not do it. But some two, so-called comedians, sorry... can't even call them comedians because comedians are very hardworking, good people with brains and lot of talents. These people came and started saying stupid lines, I still took it kindly and in a dignified manner and when I held the mike to reply they switched off my mike! So when my mike's power went off, the comedians like brainless Parrots were continuing with their lines and I had to just sit quietly. Dignified women like me would get up and leave as I cannot start fighting and screaming because I am a little more educated than that."

Comparing the Bachao comedians with Ace comedian Kapil Sharma, she quotes "Insulting someone, humiliating someone, passing cheap comments in the name of comedy is something that only talent-less people do. Everybody cannot become talented like Kapil Sharma, when he does comedy or pulls someone's leg, he does it with taste and with brains. He is witty and everybody wants to become as successful as him. Well, they won't and they can't. Because they take the easy way out, they take the cheap way out which is insulting someone, anybody can become a star if they open their clothes n they stand on the road. We have lot of celebs who are like that, whose only claim to fame is crash publicity.

Uff! She really had a lot to say!

Now Let's hear the story from the horse's mouth!!

Anita Hassandani from Comedy Nights Bachao, who was present at the moment says "Honestly speaking, I am very fond of Kavita. She is lovely and has a great sense of humour. We were blowing punches on everyone present there. We even cracked jokes on Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and the contestants present there! So it was not that only she was targeted. That is the format of the show and we were just doing our job. And talking about the technical issues that turned the mike off, I cannot really say whether they purposely did it or some issues came down."

Now that you know both the versions of the story, hit the comments box below and let us know who you think is right.

Greetings SUTAPA,
The real question is that after this event how many contestant will still remain jobless 🤣...

Colors should stop doing donkey shows now...if they don't know what dance really is😆

Greetings SUTAPA,

The irony is even he will remain jobless...i still don't know why colors are mocking who actually are the real dancers...

Colors have really mocked every other class in their show and I don't feel new if they do it in reality show too...just see their comedy Bachao...they literally go down in nature just in the name of fun...disgusting and weird mindset the channel has...
