okay, decent first epi. i liked shahid's fun personality and he seems sweet. his chemistry with manish and karan is good, and thats something you cant fake/ scripted.
lauren needs to buck up and actually say something useful. she cant just sit there and look good, since she is the most qualified one of the lot. seems like the channel wants to keep it that way.
actually, this year we have the strongest panel , they should make use of it and give comments/feedback that are reflective of the performances. channel should let that happen, because, there are a lot of popular faces as well, and the only way to level competition is to make scoring even across the board.
radhika's performance was good - because her choreo was smart in presenting a well rounded package. a bit of radhika, bit of ishani, with soft moves that highlighted her body. good, clean theme. smart choice overall for a intro performance
faisal was amazing, but like sasha said, kept looking at the boards. first performance is key in getting audience to like you. he is a trained dancer, should have left off gimmicks and stuck to showing off his amazing skills.
mohit showed promise and his act was good. other than that, nothing else comes to mind.
the one legged chick ( cant remember her name) - was amazing, but her weakness showed through when she did hand work. she didnt look too graceful,almost awkward. they tried to have varied steps and be smart ( i imagine she gets tired quickly) but she needs to work on upper body movements, imho
vivian - train wreck. needs to work harder and let loose. you see so many of these type of 'non dancers' every year, but he needs to buck up, because there are few males, and the ones there are, are looking to be better than him at dancing. his choreo needs to play to his image, otherwise soap queens and the guys will eat him alive
