Could somebody help me clear my doubt.i always conceptualised dance as graceful,entertaining and narrative.but after seeing jdj I am bedinning to have doubts.rather than call it a dance show it should be renanmed an acrobatics or a stunt show.in recent times there is so much of acrobatics and lifts and jumps that beauty and grace of dance seem to have got lost.Or am i the only one feeling so?and it is not just one but uniformly all the participants who seem to be doing this so no bashing here.Felt it more so during the Sana mukthi faceoff...former had a lot of dance but the latter got chosen dur to those lifts ,though am not denying those were really difficult

for all contestants excluding drashti , dance is everything which includes from lifts to jumps but for drashti , its just only jumping japak ... 😆

yesterday last night i had found two acts quite clumsy which were of Shaan and drashti .. though drashti did a bit better as compared to Shaan but shaan( dunno) what was he doing in the pinjara😭 .. if people call it dance then i dance better than him , and i can replace shaan if channel permits me..😆

ysterday dd showed beautiful Bangiee jumping,we can learn frm this act-how to use banjee jumping when u will be under attack of pirates

contemporary dance agian again lauren uncle will do.sonali always do lifts only music n dress changed this both r same..

In jdj dance , they r expressing their emotions by doing gimnastic , inside the cage , jumping from one place to another and sonali.s foot will not touch the ground. all sort of acrobats they perform and judges appreciate and comment -This is it,Perfect and Budtameez

ah..nice post..

ia gree...

i know a lot of people like DID..initially yes it was gr8..but now its become so reptitive wid only aerial acts or acrobatics...;ast i watched kids..only acro..or at max if they hv to venture out to other forms..robotics/hip-hop/lockin-popppins..

What i feel worse abt is..that Indian danceforms are not celebrated here at all...baki duniya to unhe promtoe karegi nahi...so atleast we should do that..

and dance is abhinay + natya too... every word can be converted to movements..and that's were the choreography challenge lies...

but acts now a days are only abt jumpiing..

JDJ has been a bad dancing experience
