TOI: Sid to have new choreographer

Actor Siddharth Shukla aka Shiv of Balika Vadhu will have a new partner in the dance reality show, after his choreographer Sonia Jaffer got injured during the rehearsal.

She will be replaced by Mohena Singh, the winner of another dance reality show. She was also actor Karan Wahi's partner in the previous season. He is the second celebrity participant whose choreographer has suffered injuries on the show. Sushant Pujari, Shweta Tiwari's choreographer (the actress was recently eliminated) had also quit after he got injured during rehearsals.

Siddharth, who started getting into the groove only recently, will find it difficult to adjust to a new choreographer. Says he, "Sonia got hurt sometime back and even had to get stitches on her ankle. But her wound didn't heal because of rehearsals and the rains."

The actor admits that it will take time to adjust with a new choreographer. "Sonia knew my strengths and weaknesses. The replacement couldn't have come at a worse time. I will have to start from scratch. However, I have seen Mohena's performance and she is also a talented choreographer."

mohena is better than sonia but still she is highly overrated

Sad to hear about her injuries but she was one of the worse choreographer in JDJ. Good for Sid.

I think all this is sonia drama. She just was not interested and was not bringing any innovation in her acts. She just gave up at the wrong time when they got very less scores and worst performance. It's only be because sid popularity she came through till now in the contest. Now I am sure sid will get eliminated in the next week.

During the last performance, I could see the tension between Sid/Sonia. The way he lost interest in the middle of the performance.

I notice he always starts dancing on his own too for almost all of the performance. So something is off for sure.

I did find Sonia, boring and repetitive. Hopefully Mohena can bring something else to the table.

Every time contestants ask to change their choreographers ... Poor choreos have to give an excuse of injuring emselves. 😆

i think sonia is not interested
